This was a great short, and I love that we got a little more of Rex. He wasn’t really my favorite character in previous books, but I couldn’t help but root for him to get his happily ever after either. I think he and Hannah are the perfect balance for each other, and Sara Ney has written another rom-com winner. She has a way of writing that has you rooting for the guy you never thought you would. Absolutely loved this story, and I was glad to see the ‘new and improved’ Rex Gunderson!
Rex is back at school helping out in the athletics department when he puts up a dating ad on the LoveU app. Hannah sees his ad and thinking he is crazy decides to strike up a conversation with him. From this point you won't stop laughing because Hannah is the best.
I love her inquisitive questions and their hilarious banter. It's totally Rex and she is PERFECT for him.
Hannah asks Rex to teach her how to date/talk to men because let's face it, shes kinda a mean person... somehow he agrees but what happens when you put a boy and a girl in close quarters ??? Nothing good that's for sure.
I loved this little ride. It was cute and funny and sweet.
Not going to lie, I have my fingers crossed there will be more Douchebags in the future, but I'm looking forward to whatever Ney has to offer.
And Hannah is hilariously awkward and so perfect for Rex.
He has definitely changed. And thank goodness for that! I loved the chemistry and interaction with Hannah.
I definitely have some catching up to do.
Rex has definitely become a loveable douchebag. I am completely won over.

This novella was perfect. Hannah and Rex were freaking adorable together and the banter had me in stitches. I can't get enough of these douchebag books.
We get to see Hannah, from The Lying Hours be the awkward, rude person, and Rex be the classy, patient person. A nice switch on the formula with some fun banter and snark. Rex is a good guy now, but he is still full of zingers.
The story takes place over maybe 2 days. It’s a fun, quick read that offers a nice ending for Gunderson.
