The table of contents will effectively freeze your device and you'll have to restart it. I have tried restarting the device as well as deleting the book and downloading it again, to no avail. I can't read more than 2 pages at a time without experiencing some kind of technical glitch which prevents me from reading.
I've contacted Amazon to get this fixed, but in the meantime I would encourage you to buy the printed version. The books contains invaluable data if you are into the Dogme approach to teaching, but you won't be able to read this electronic version.
I purchased this book because it closely resembles how I am learning the Asian language of the country where I am a resident alien. I think this is a good book, but most teachers, or student teachers, reading this book will be challenged to utilize much of these ideas full-time in their classrooms because of their student's shareholders wishes and beliefs about language teaching and the focus on testing in some parts of the world.
Overall, I think this book is really worth four stars, but I gave it three stars because I think according to the Dogme spirit that readers should be primarily reading the Kindle version--the paperless, electronic version instead of a traditional paper book. In addition, when I opened my copy, the binding of the International version separated slightly. I was not happy about that. I, too, urge the authors to fix the reported problems with the Kindle version so that readers do not have to order the paper and glue version of the book. Good reading to you.
