What a neat gift for sports heads and anyone of a remotely curious nature; where did all these phrases and words in such common everyday use come from? Now I know, as soon will both friends and relatives that are about to receive this as a 'valued' gift. In the same vein as Schott's original, this is a gloriously fun reference to either dip in and out of as and when, or hard to resist ploughing straight through it. I loved it, but then I'm a curious sporty (as opposed to a sporty curiosity). A bulls eye!
