The Cozyna Lotus Teapot
Perfect for Steeping Loose Leaf Tea, Tea Bags and Blooming Tea!
Taste the True Flavors of All Your Favorite Tea Varieties!
The Cozyna Lotus Teapot was thoughtfully designed with a lightweight yet durable borosilicate glass. Unlike other glass, it is known for its resistant to thermal shock, making it the perfect material for a teapot that's going to last. Best of all, since the Cozyna Lotus is transparent, you get to enjoy the beauty of your steeping process from start to finish!
We don't believe that plastic should play any part during your tea steeping process. This is why we opted to go for an eco-friendly stainless steel mesh filter. Not only does this material preserve the true taste of your tea but you will also never have to worry about plastic-leaching. This is plastic free product.
Experience an effortless pour with comfort and ease. This ergonomic handle feels natural in your hand and stays cool while your tea stays hot!

- Complimentary product provided for evaluation, yet my thinking here reflects all my personal purchasing decision processes, and hopefully may help clarify if this best meets your own needs and expectations.
Nonetheless, I am not biased against the brand. We also own a French coffee press by the same company that is considerably superior in build, materials and function. I suppose that was why we took a chance on this teapot despite the clear warnings.
It s a shame. I wanted to support a family business like this. It is trying very hard to make the best product possible at the lowest price they can but something is deeply wrong in the product design and manufacture to not be able to do a simple pour. On the plus side, it has a good look and the central idea of being able to see the brew and easily remove the tea leaves before they become bitter all make sense. If only it was practically designed and built near as well as it is is aesthetically designed.
Other customers have noted that the seller is friendly and very good about replacements for exactly this kind of problem I am reporting to you. So that is still an option should you share my experiences. Unfortunately, this is such a deeply flawed product that I do not want nor can I recommend it to you. Perhaps, since many arrive without this flaw that it just might be a quality control issue involving loose sampling standards that could possibly be tightened and resolved in the future.
Pros: -Thick glass and sturdy handle
-Easy to clean; there is a handle on the brewing basket that allows you to pull the strainer out of the pot with ease
-Holds about 3 mugs worth of tea
-Great and caring customer service
Things I don't like:
-Metal piece "wedges" into glass top; it stays in place nicely but I am afraid that over many uses the glass will break
-Can't fill it all the way to the top: tea pieces escape the brewing basket and liquid pours out the lid instead of the spout
-Metal lid gets hot! Not a huge problem, just something to be aware of.
Overall I do enjoy this teapot.
It it nicely balanced, has a very chic look and is something I would recommend. It looks so small one would not think this vessel can hold 1.;2 liters, but it does.
The lost star is Amazon price manipulation. Not a product failure but notice to future buyers.. paid 35$, now selling for 32$ a week later. Obviously market forces are at work and tea drinking has taken the world by storm, thus prices of teapots are dropping... my Economics Prof would be laughing at that , but Amazon-economics did not exist back in the day.
Couldn't find the model we had so decided to try something new.
We've been using it for a couple weeks now and have been very pleased.
Especially like the wide opening on the pot. Makes cleaning much easier then the old one.
Also wanted one that had NO plastic in it's parts. SS and glass is the only way to go.
Also, the vendor has contacted us twice making sure that we were totally pleased with their product.
This is technically my second infuser basket teapot, with the first being a cast iron pot that is more of a novelty than a functional pot. I've not had any trouble in the two weeks I've been using it, and it makes some delicious tea. It keeps the tea surprisingly warm given it's glass, but the handle stays very cool making pouring nice and easy. It can comfortably fit 3 cups of water which is just about right for how much tea I want in one sitting. Additionally the pot is very easy to clean. I don't have any real complaints at all.
