Paper craft unfurled

I treated this game as an exploration. It is extremely well-crafted and has a lot of replay value. It even gives you instructions to make papercraft, which I thought was neat. The music is a mix of folk, pop, rock, baroque and dubstep. I really think of this as first and foremost a journey media molecule is taking us through rather than a conventional game. So with that in mind, I'd say play it without expectation, and play it just for the sake of relaxing. Prepare to smile.

A little creepy, but fun. The main character and the world he inhabits is made of construction paper. It's a cute little game, I'm only at the beginning, where I've been doing things like jumping on trampolines to reach higher places, and playing basketball. I guess every little scrap of paper that swirls into the air should be collected by this little guy.

Tearaway is an awesome game. I read the many reviews, and I am glad I decided to purchase it. I wanted a PS Vita so that I could play on the go and when I have longs waits. Tearaway uses all the Vita's features. And I do mean all of them. Rear and front cameras, rear and front touch pad and tilt features. This game showcases the Vita very well. The levels are crazy, especially the last ones. As I was playing I was laughing and thinking who can come up with these ideas. They must be on some strong prescription drugs. Great gameplay that will keep you entertained for hours. The story is somewhat short, so that is a good and a bad thing depending on how you look at it. I am planning on replaying the levels to try to get all the presents and items required to achieve 100%.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good adventure game on the Vita. The developers went above and beyond on this game.

This is simply the game to justify owning a Vita. The world is richly detailed, immersive, and reacts to your every touch and movement. The story is great, while still being simple enough for kids to understand. The gameplay is entertaining, if not challenging for most adults. Story took maybe 10 hours, including trying to find as many in-game collectibles as possible.

For any adult with kids, the best reason to buy this game, even if you must also buy a Vita, is that any papercraft model you find in the game can be printed and folded in real life. The models really are beautiful, and even with a half-way printer they look phenomenal, and are fun to build.

In short, this is an amazingly fun game, and I will be saving both it and my Vita to enjoy with maybe future children of my own.

Wow. Simply, wow. As I played this game, I couldn't help but to marvel at the ingenuity that went into carefully adding functionality to the features of the VITA. No other game so far has caught the essence of what the VITA could do (or should do). I mean, this gem makes use of both analog sticks, the digital pad, the touch screens -both front and back, the cameras -both fron and back, and the gyroscope. The guys at Media Molecule had shown us that they know how to make platformers with Little Big Planet, but Tearway has taking this concept to a new height. Plus, it doesn't hurt that the story is quite involving yet simple, and quite literally brings YOU into the game.

A great game for all ages!!! My Daughter loves it, my wife loves and i love it. I just wish it was longer!!
The story is great, there is also a nice use of the Vita's frontal and rear camera. Tearaway is a lengthy, highly original and visually beautiful experience. The combat gets a bit repetitive after a while, but that shouldn't stop Vita owners from getting their hands on this title.. Oh and what about those paper prints? Love to sit down with my daughter to make those cool characters.

You'll just wish the game was neverending. Another great game from Media Molecule.

This is by far the best game I have played on the Vita. Very unique and original title that utilizes almost every unique capability that the Vita has to offer. The game isn't terribly long, but longer than I expected from reading other reviews. The game is quite easy and forgiving for the most part, making it acceptable for all ages. For those of you who enjoy trophies, there a few that are a bit challenging, but the platinum trophy is definitely obtainable, unlike many other games that require ridiculous feats or play time to obtain.
