Laynie was the most inspirational character. She's blind, but lives more fully than most of us with sight do. Nothing holds her back, and she works to help others who lose their sight learn to embrace their lives with the relish that she does.
Tease has a rough life, and it shows physically through a scar along his face that makes him feel like a monster. Unfortunately people don't always take the time to see what's beneath the surface, so he's treated like a monster too.
Tease and Laynie are perfect for one another. She doesn't judge him by his appearance and he doesn't treat her as incapable just because she's blind. He's the first person she's ever felt has actually seen the real her, despite the disability, and Tease feels the same about her. But trouble with a rival club threatens everything they feel for one another. Tease doesn't want to put her in danger, but Laynie isn't going to pull away that easily. They need each other and she wasn't going to give up until she could get him to see it too. It was so sweet how she got under Tease's skin and forced him to be his real self with her. He has so much to offer in a relationship that he didn't know he had. She helped him see his own self worth while he affirmed hers by treating her as an equal.
I'm really enjoying this new MC series so far, and can't wait to see what's next!!

Brief Summary of the Storyline: This is Laynie and Tease's story. Tease has been watching this mysterious beauty for a while now, and one day they bump into each other. Because of Tease's past he isn't interested in more than watching for now, but after an accident with her service dog they are thrown together. They spend more time together, and the attraction grows into love. There is some typical mc drama, some sexy times, and some sweet moments...and the couple get a HFN ending.
POV: This alternated between Laynie and Tease's POV.
Overall Pace of Story: Good until the end. The book is too short IMO. I usually only read books that are 200+ pages because a lot of the time I don't feel like I had enough of the couple, and I did get that a little with this one. I understand wanting to set it up for another book in the series, but the last section being about Jase and not an epilogue for the couple was disappointing. I never skimmed, and I did feel like it flowed well.
Instalove: Kind of. They both felt feelings pretty quick, but it wasn't the type that annoys me.
H rating: 4 stars. Tease/Travis. I liked him. He was a broody biker with a soft center ;)
h rating: 4 stars. Laynie. I liked her. She never let her disability get her down, and I liked where she called the H out when he was being a jerk.
Sadness level: Low/moderate.Read more ›
Tease has led a horrible life and because of that he believes that he cannot trust anyone. Laynie was blinded at age 17 in a car accident. She lives alone with her guide dog and has two jobs. As the story progresses Laynie and Tease meet and open each other up to the world in different ways and show each other that neither of them were actual living they were just existing. Tease knew he was just existing he just believed he was a monster and that his life was going to be what it was and nothing would change it. Laynie showed him that he is not a monster at all. Tease is really a beautiful love story. There is angst and some extremely emotional scenes, hot sex scenes and an HEA. If you enjoy MC Romance then you will love this book. I think that even if MC Romance is not normally something that you read, this story would still be a great read because of Laynie and Tease. It can be read as a stand alone, but if you are able I do suggest that you pick up the first book in the series Ryker because it is also a fabulous read. One-click Tease today!!!!!
Yet in the end like every great love story we find a happy medium.
We all know the fairy tale can happened!
