I won't write any spoilers but it was good to see characters we thought were out of the pictures forever, such as Robbie and Jill. I can't wait to see what happens with priest! Thank you Ella Frank for being such a fabulous writer and giving us a "tease" for what's to come.......this book was absolute perfection.
and TEASE did not disappoint!
Logan & Tate had all the chemistry and heat of the first three books of the Temptation series.
(See, I said HEAT, and I mean it!! This is an erotic series, so yes, there is SEX!
AMAZINGLY written, SCORCHING HOT SEX between two men insanely in love with everything about the other!)
I loved the direction this took, tackling a few loose ends from Trust that were left as far as
family goes. But, just the right dose of angst along the way to keep the story moving along perfectly!
It was written in a way that had me falling for these guys even harder this time around.
Was also nice to see some other favorites throughout Tease!
(won't say which ones, don't want to ruin the book for some)
Fans of L & T will love it, I did!
The ending left me more than a little surprised (NOT in a cliffy kinda way) I was left with a huge, Logan style smirk on my face!
When I heard Tease was coming I was so excited, I couldn't stop smiling, and then I found out we weren't getting just one book, but three more books. It was crazy.
I wasn't sure what to expect, I mean four years later. Logan and Tate have been together for four years, it's been four years since Ella Frank first wrote about them, now she's back and so are her boys.
I loved this book. I cannot explain how much I love this book. It took me this long to write my review as I wanted to make sure I could actually write one without sounding like an inarticulate idiot.
You would think after four years the passion, the need, the furious way Logan and Tate came together would dissipate. But that is not the case with these boys. As they got deeper into their lives they felt deeper for each other. Yet life got in the way. Logan's job as a lawyer meant late nights, and Tate's status of bar owner meant he worked nights mostly. It was hard for the two to find the balance. Until they made it their mission to make it all about them.
God how I love their relationship. Logan might not like the words domestic, settled, or committed, but that's exactly what they are. However, that does not mean they are boring. Oh no, Logan and Tate are anything but boring. What made me fall in love with them originally is still there. It's not easy pulling off a book that takes place four years after the original, let alone three. But after reading Tease I know Ella Frank has pulled it off.
And that ending, I guess there's a good reason this book is called Tease, it was one big set up for book five. One big Tease to show us where Logan and Tate are, to set the stage for what happens in this stage of their lives. Most might not like that, but I loved it. I thought it was smart. Ella Frank gave us what we wanted, More Logan and Tate, and she did what she seems to do best, tease us. Now if only book five was here already.
I was completely blown away.
Then I purchased the next in the series, "Tate," and was up all night reading it and was also completely blown away again.
I have revised the review of "Tease" and also made it the review of "Tate" because there is so much to both books that you must know and read and learn from and fall in love with that it is impossible to be lucid and objective when it comes to two of the greatest M/M characters you will ever encounter, and come to love.
Hallelujah! Get them both now and pray that the next one will give you some room to breathe.
