POLLTICS is a game of American politics in action. The game presents different complexity levels, making it a good choice for all ages 10 and up. Players chose their favorite VOTE chips and PARTY card along with four PROP cards from the deck. They then take turns CAMPAIGNING, PURCHASING POTENTIAL VOTES and rolling the dice against opponents for STATE'S SUPREMACY. GENERAL ELECTIONS are called, VOTES counted, and winners of the PRESIDENCY, HOUSE/SENATE MAJORITY, and SUPREME COURT JUDGES are revealed. Players are paid according to total number of VOTES earned. The cycle starts over till someone wins the game by achieving ABSOLUTE MAJORITY. Plays use strategy to determine which states to campaign for, how much money to spend on any given state, and whether to submit a BILL to hinder their opponents.

They could improve a little on the game's appearance. The box is pretty big and heavy implying you are paying for something substantial. The material is good quality. Although, the design on the back of the cards is a little dull. The chips aren't too small but could use some improvement in design to make them easier to grab. The game last roughly for about two hours. Takes about a couple of times to learn well, although the walkthrough really helps. The game picks up speed very quickly (within the first few minutes you start seeing serious action). I would only take a few points off due to the design which could use some improvement. Overall we love it. We'll keep an eye for future improvements.
every saturday i organize a gathering in my house with a bunch of friends to just get together and play. we play just about anything under the sun, from trivial pursuit, to risk, to acquire, monopoly, chess, axis and allies, you name it! recently i saw this game on line and decided to check it out.
it's a novelty, so why not?
the game is interesting and it hooks you up. my friends and i get seriously bored with predictable games. this is anything but. it has a lot of different interesting outcomes.
one thing though, this isn't your typical simple game at all. you got to be fast on your feet.
You can use many different strategies to turn the tide of the game on a dime and drive your opponents crazy.
I would recommend this game to anyone looking for fun with family or friends.
I played the game with friends and I have to say that the minute we started playing things got very interesting very quickly. There is plenty of strategy and the game doesn't feel too long. The game was good fun and enjoyable and lasted most of the time for two hours. There are plenty strategies in the game.
The one thing about the game though, is that the chips were a little too small. It wasn't too annoying, but I would advice the manufacturer to make them a little bigger. Also, the box inside looks kind of simple, they could've come up with a much more interesting design. The cards are very high quality but they are plain in the back (there is no design). I think they may have over did it with the warning of a risk of choking.
As far as learning the game, it didn't take us too long to learn. Their claim that you open the box and start playing while following the "Walkthrough" is true, or at least it was true for us.
Other than these small design faults, I think this game is great choice and I highly recommend it.
