About Ted Wojtasik
Ted Wojtasik is a writer and an educator. He was born and reared in Wallingford, Connecticut, the grandson of Polish and Italian immigrants. He holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of South Carolina, an M.F.A. from Columbia University in the City of New York, and a B.A. in philosophy from George Washington University. He is the author of two novels: "No Strange Fire" (about the Amish and Amish barn fires) and "Collage" (about an artist during the eighties AIDS crisis). "Collage" was one of five finalists for the Lambda Literary Award in 2004. He has published short stories in various literary journals, most recently "Cold Mountain Review." He served on the Literature Panel for the National Endowment for the Arts in 2003. He teaches English and creative writing courses at St. Andrews University in Laurinburg, North Carolina.
