Season one was enjoyable but it's takes a few episodes to get sucked in. By 4 episodes into season one I was hooked, and by the time I started season two I was down-right addicted. If you can push through the first half of season one, you won't regret it.
I'm not a teenager; I'm 38 years old and my favorite shows are Sherlock (BBC), Scandal, Vampire Diairies, and Downton Abbey... Now mid-way through season 3, I would definitely include Teen Wolf as one of my favorite, must-see shows. I hope the writing continues to stay on par and they continue to surprise us. I'm just discovering this show in season 3 because so many people are starting to talk about it - I never would've given this show a chance otherwise simply because of the title. 'Teen Wolf' sounds so silly and juvenile, but if you watch the show through it's current season you will discover it's not at all.
But anyway, the quality of the series is still good, the plot twists and the little jokes are still there and overall, the show is so unpredictable. Can't wait to see what's going to happen on season 3B!
The writing is excellent, the stories are really good, I enjoy the mysteries, and I am always looking forward to the next episode.
The acting is great. Scott, Allison, Stiles and Lydia are outstanding. ESPECIALLY the actor who plays Stiles, I believe he is the most talented actor out of everyone, he makes the scenes so good. I am not that impressed with the character "Derek" and the actor who plays him. To me, he seems kind of bland. Looks good but not much depth. Fortunately, Scott and Stiles are strong enough to run the show.
Because the stories are so exciting and compelling, I would recommend this to everyone, especially if you like stories about werewolves and the supernatural.
