LEONARDOThe leader of the Turtles, Leonardo aspires to be a brave, decisive, perfect hero. Unfortunately, for the moment at least, he’s an inexperienced teen, with three smartaleck brothers. It’s the gap between his aspiration and current situation that is the greatest source of frustration in Leo’s life. He’s the most driven of the four Turtles, training and studying relentlessly. He tends to be hard on himself, but his diligence does not go unnoticed. He is the favored student (the uchi-deshi) of Splinter, whose approval he very much craves. |
RAPHAELRaphael is the biggest and toughest of the four brothers. A straight-up brawler, he has very little patience for things like stealth, hiding in shadows or keeping his voice down. While he’s fiercely loyal to his brothers, he’s often also the one giving them a hard time. Raphael is the one most likely to strike out on his own when he feels slighted or underappreciated. Raphael’s temper can get the better of him, causing him to get into situations over his head. |
DONATELLODonatello creates all of the team’s gadgets – from the simplest bo staff to their incredible vehicles – from things he’s literally scrounged from a trash heap. He’s utterly brilliant, obsessively detail-oriented and often impatient that his brothers can’t keep up with him intellectually. But Donnie also happens to be the most socially awkward of the Turtles – especially when April is nearby! |
MICHELANGELOThe smallest and least mature of the brothers, Mikey is easily distracted and enthusiastic about… well… pretty much everything. He’s also extremely creative. He has a thousand ideas and, every now and then, one of them will be brilliant. His combination of creativity and lack of focus gives him a kind of “flow” in combat that the other Turtles cannot match. He’s a social animal (well, mutant), and more than the others, he yearns to be part of the real world. |

SPLINTERSplinter is a protective parent, stern disciplinarian and quirky Zen philosopher. A ninja master at the height of his abilities, he is determined to train and protect his new family at all costs. He’s also remarkably in tune with the universe; he can literally feel its vibrations, allowing him to sense the energies and the intentions of others. |
APRIL O’NEILVery smart, very offbeat, with an indie rock vibe, April feels more comfortable around the Turtles than around her high-school peers. She always knew she wasn’t meant to live a “normal” life, especially after extra-dimensional creatures bent on world domination kidnapped her super-intelligent scientist father. |
SHREDDERShredder, one of the deadliest martial artists in the world and the leader of an army of ninjas known as the “Foot Clan,” is the sworn enemy of Splinter. He blames Splinter for the death of his true love. He is cold, cunning, ruthless and obsessed with destroying Splinter and his clan. His thirst for revenge has drained him of all compassion, warmth and connection to humanity, with one glaring exception: his adopted daughter, Karai, whom he loves dearly. |
THE KRAANGA race of bizarre aliens, they manifest on Earth as multi-tentacled braincreatures all called “Kraang.” They are inter-dimensional conquerors, and they have come to Earth in order to colonize it. Unfortunately for them, the Earth’s atmosphere is not particularly hospitable to them. Unfortunately for us, their plan is to transform the Earth’s environment into something more suitable for their own kind, which will destroy all human life. Until then, the Kraang have assimilated into human society, their gelatinous brain forms encased within android shells called Kraangdroids. |

FOOTBOTSFootbots look identical to the human Foot Soldiers but have robotic interiors and are much stronger and faster. Created by the Kraang for Shredder, they are programmed with 900 different combat styles. Fighting them just improves their skills. Eventually, these robots upgrade to have extra arms that unfold with weapons including swords, sickles, and spiked balland-chains attached to their hands. Some Footbots are also equipped with gliders and can pursue airborne enemies. |
CASEY JONESCasey Jones is a teenage vigilante friend of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. A skilled (though untrained) fighter and an occasional hothead, he connects with the Turtles on a level that few others can, slinging insults, sharing pieces of pop culture and truly accepting them as equals. |
SLASHWhen a spilled canister of mutagen comes in contact with Raph’s pet turtle, Spike, he mutates into a hulking, craggy turtle with a spiky shell and sharp beak named Slash. At first, Slash drives a wedge between Raph and his brothers, but later, he comes to realize that he may be fighting on the wrong side. |
BEBOPFast-talking master thief Anton Zeck runs afoul of Shredder and ends up mutated into a warthog called Bebop. During the mutation, Zeck’s high-tech suit fuses with his body, giving him the ability to turn invisible. His gear also includes hi-tech goggles; energy “rails” that extend from his boots, allowing him to glide between buildings; and a mohawk that can shoot energy blasts at his enemies. Bebop is loyal to Shredder because he fears the Foot Clan. |

But the case is poorly designed. There really isn't enough room for all the discs so some of them have to stack. Probably will buy a separate DVD case to hold all the episodes.
And I am also confused on which disc is which. There's an episode guide but it's divided by disc number (Disc 1, Disc 2...). But the actually label on the discs don't have numbers; they are titled with I'm assuming the story arc titles. It looks like the discs are in the correct order, but it would be easier if they just labeled the disc with numbers; or include the story arc title in the episode guide.
My second issue, the discs are not numerically labeled. The inside cover has an episode list which is nice, but the discs have no numerical label, making it hard to keep track of which disc should be next.
