    2stars. One for a decent arcade joystick for playing and another star for customer service giving me a refund fast.

    Why only 2? It did not come with the art panel. The MAIN reason I got this. No hex tool. Not even the original box. It was just in a regular shipping box with not enough craft paper to protect it from bumps and hits.

    instead of giving me the art panel, I received a refund. I apprecite it, but no. Not enough. So disappointing.

    This arcade stick is super nice...I've been keeping an eye on this for a while and the first chance I got, I bought it....I use it to play SF4 and Tekken...The buttons are responsive and I think the arcade stick is a must have for all fighting fans.

    I was one of the first to Pre-Order this Fightstick right after they announced it... I got mine in Dec 2012 when they shipped out those Pre-Orders... Before this i always used the Controller that came with my consoles.

    At first it was very odd to use it. The layout being so different than the Controller and all. I've had mine for 8 Month's now. They say it takes a good Year to get used to it. Well that may be true for some but i got used to it really quick... So it didn't take that long. I would never go back to a Controller for Fighting Games now...

    The Face Panel that comes with it is a very nice Panel far as looks. But if u put it on the Fightstick it just doesn't fit or look right. So i'd keep the Panel as a Keep Sake here and not use the Panel then.

    The Rubber pad on the bottom for when u use it on ur Lap well this is the first MadCatz released to have this Pad on the bottom for when u play on ur Lap for Non-Slipping! Well after 7 Month's of using it on my Lap the Pad on one side started to peel loose... And it wouldn't stick after it comes loose. So there was no way to keep it stuck down. I had to either remove the entire pad... Or cut a little off that was peeling... I did that once and it started to peel a 2nd time so i had to cut another small strip off... arrgg! I really like the idea of the Pad but just Note: That the Pad on the bottm won't last forever if you use it on ur lap like i always have.

    I really like the Button Layout they used here. The five Yellow Buttons work great for TTT2 the 5th Button being the Tag Button. I also use that Tag Button for DOA5 also... Very nice!

    The Joystick is a Sanwa one we all know there the best made. It comes with a Square Gate! I highly recommend a Octogonal Gate... I got one of those only a month after i first got my Fightstick. I didn't really care for the square Gate... Some like Charge Characters work well with Square Gate so if ur into Charge Characters... LOL!

    The Buttons are all Sanwa Buttons, They of course are the best ones on the market. The best thing about these is that they can be replaced at anytime u like. Any of the parts can be got to easy and changed quickly.

    No i haven't had it for a Year yet so i can't give ya Year Review at this point. Sorry! But 8 Month's i can say that if ur gonna BUY a MadCatz TE Arcade Fightstick? U might want to Buy this one. I myself wouldn't want any other one. I prefer the style they used here. And this Is truely a one of a kind layout. Again that can always be changed at anytime if u want to change anything. But for me i like it the way it is.

    Far as Rating... I give this the Highest Rating possible... If ur gonna buy a fightstick u might as well buy the right one. And this for sure is the right one. Enjoy!

    Seems like their best product at the moment. I've only own Hori Pro V3 SA, so that's the only comparison I can make with this new fightstick of mine. This new one seem smaller, but heavier and sturdier. I would say it is better built, but function wise, the same. On a side note, TE S+ turbo function is garbage for attempting to use characters such as Blanka and Honda. I use this mainly for SSF4 AE. I found the button layout is a tad more comfortable for the user who uses the far buttons to the right as normally, SF button layout keeps the far right button a bit higher than this. Anyway, all preference really. I would recommend this as it seems very sturdy and durable with many years of shelf life. However, I would also like to point out that the extra cover sheet, whatever it's called, is really garbage. When used, I think the way it sets is just 'ghetto'. Looks sloppy and cheap. Anyway, the original cover sheet looks better and totally get one of these as I feel a few months later when they are sold out, people will probably start to write more positive reviews. By then, it will be impossible to get a brand new one at a reasonable price. Similar to the TE round 2. Well, good luck and hope this helped rather than confused anyone.

    I decided to switch from pad to stick so i purchased this, the transition is going pretty quick for me but for others it may take longer so please beware the learning curve if you are new to arcade sticks. So yeah, another great TE stick from madcatz, it has authentic japanese parts(Sanwa) and the noir cabinet layout. I have had the stick for a little over a month and have had no problems with it. If your looking to replace an old stick or you just want to convert from pad to stick i highly recommend this product. it also comes with 2 art plexi's the default one with the basic cracks and the TTT2 logo and the other with all of the female tekken characters on it. So for those of you who don't like character art on your stick this is a great choice. The only reason i could see anyone who is looking for a good stick not to buy this is if they don't like tekken and even then you can simply make your own custom art to replace the current plexi. Easy to mod, high quality, authentic parts and build. I expected nothing less from a TE stick.
