In my bio I discuss the dream I had that led to the writing of Tell Tale Hearts. I went from dream to concept to manuscript to published in just under three months. For me, that's extremely fast. This book was so much fun to write, and having the mile markers in place was helpful. I just had to chart the path between them. The concept for the second book, due out this fall (2020, ATOP) was similar. It's a longer book but just as fun to write.

This book is outstanding and I hate that I have to wait for the second one 😩, why can’t you have written it already 😩, anyways 😂. This was an incredible read, and it felt incredibly real the entire time, though I must say I did indeed guess from the start who she was, i just had that feeling. And even though I may not understand all the words thrown around about what work out equipment there is and such, it never threw me out of the story that’s how smooth everything felt, like it was seamlessly put together. I fully recommend this book, 20/10, and defintely don’t worry about being cold when your reading this, plenty of steam in the pages of this book to keep you warm at night.

First, I got a free copy of this book from a contest of sorts and I did not receive a copy in exchange for a review. That being said, I'm mad at myself for not reviewing this book sooner.

I love romance and erotica stories and read a LOT of them. The biggest problem I have with them is that there's not much of a background story. Granted, you don't need much of the story, just enough to get you to the moment the characters meet and that's fine. I was expecting that with this book. I was oh so thankfully wrong.

This author didn't just write an erotica novel, they wrote a STORY. It was a beautifully built up and amazingly written story of the good the bad and the ugly that can happen to someone. Every character is full-bodied, even the walk-ons. The author had me gripped on the edge of my seat from the first few pages desperate to know Darcy's story and they didn't let me down. This was no one-off where you get a quick story and then the rest of the book is nothing but sex. It's almost a coming of age where the main character comes to terms with her sexuality.

The other thing that made me love this book is that at no point in time does the author make you believe there is anything wrong about the way Darcy behaves. This is one of the best written sex-positive stories I have ever read. Bravo.

Well done Erotica novella

Erotica is written with the sole purpose to provoke lust in the reader, so if that’s what you’re looking for, then this book is for you. I was surprised that it was mostly girl on girl action, but that was probably my fault for not reading the blurb. I was recommended this novella and I just dove right in.

Some scenes are heart wrenching and had me cheering on the characters. Others are cringe worthy, as the situations the characters are put in plausible situations, but I found that I wanted to warn the characters from getting into them. Therefore making me hurt with them.

The book has some fantastic visuals and the descriptions of the local scenery and the nature surrounding the characters is beautifully done.

The book moves along well with zero desire to put it down, as you want to know what’s going to unfold next. The end was a surprise I didn’t see coming and overall this work is very well written. Well done H.A.

Writing an erotica romance is not easy. there are only so many ways that you can describe sex, and most books out there are just photocopies of photocopies... in other words: boring.
THIS IS NOT THE CASE.
Not only HA Blackwood is an experienced writer, but she also blends the hot scene (and they are hot) into the story, with a meaning, with great sense of humour and with a lot of surprises. Worth every penny.
This is one of those book that you can read more than once.
