The Associated Press posted a report about a shooting in Tennessee today, November 8th , 2020 . Reading through the news item, I found a few things note-worthy about this event:

Blog postIn Science, Man is classified zoologically as Homo sapiens, which in classical Latin refers to a wise creature. This is not out-of-place since mankind is endowed with unfathomable levels of memory and also a practitioner of sciences; both scholarly and mundane. Man is found to be gifted with an inquisitiveness that can only modestly be described as 'intelligent'.
He is enveloped in an 'aura' of discernment' right from the womb. Every second of his life is a neuro-scientific wonder, as4 months ago Read more -
Blog postIn these times, information, more than ever, needs to be factual and applicable. For the mere reason, that time is so much of an essence, and repeats or re-works could lead to a devastating loss. Covid-19 has introduced a different ball game. The rules are still being written as we speak. The devastating toll of this respiratory virus has gone 'ballistic'. It is nor regional devastation, but a worldwide one. It is indeed a pandemic. Blog postBig Flood (In memory of Big Floyd)
Good morning to me,
And Good morning world!
To the world I see,
And to the one obscured.
Today, under Heaven's gaze,
As trials and opportunities merge.
With a dazzle and with a daze,
The Lord’s favor will enlarge.
As prayers plentiful pour forth,
I know Heaven hears our souls speek.
Jehovah’s grace enshrouds the earth,
And His merciful love heals9 months ago Read more -

Blog postO nly God knows in totality. (Omniscience). He knows what is, and that which is yet to come. Beyond the memories and the historical records, He knows what was, and even beyond eternity past.I spent a quiet Resurrection Sunday, reflecting on the immensity of the Christ Gospel. I found confirmation again, that beyond what the human mind could ever fathom, dwells the simple and gentle all powerful eternal truth of the Christos. When three Magi tracked the celestial omen in the night sky for many4 years ago Read more

Blog postA s we lead to the moment we have been talking about, I will attempt to touch on the subject of The Messiah many times. Jesus Christ, King of the World, the Word of God, the Mighty God, the Prince of Peace. Known by so many names, one loses count. He is the loudest silent witness to the awesome love of the Creator! A witness that men may see, hear and feel Him who is Spirit. God is a Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth. (John 4:24). How can we worship, if4 years ago Read more

Blog postGood Morning, or whatever time you are reading this. I could not sleep much longer this morning, despite the signals I am receiving in my body.
Have you ever been convinced that you know that there is more for you, round the corner?
Friends may say: 'Give up, you are done'. Others may say: You know you have been at it for a long time, why don't you call it quits?'

Blog postToday is Friday, a day which represents many things to a variety of people. With the world's population at a staggering 7 Billion plus, it is no wonder that there are many thought patterns and persuasions under our skies. Blog postHe that came that we may have life and have it more abundantly, our Lord Jesus, once said:
I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes unto the Father except through me.
This is the season of a new promise. Those who can receive this promise, nurture it and preserve it unto fulfillment, will receive a blessing which can only be termed 'miraculous'! I have been studying the Word seriously now for about 20 years.4 years ago Read more -

Renewed and Restored: Soul Empowerment by God's Word
Apr 18, 2020
$9.99
The potency of God's Word starts with belief. Belief is a fundamental step towards developing an active faith, without which it is impossible to develop a relationship with God. Almighty God is more than a friend because He knows us, He created us, is always with us and loves us with eternal love.
Author Temitope Ogunsakin has explained the renewal and restoration that takes place in this loving relationship with the Word. Jesus is the Word and He is God. He is many things to the Believer even as a deeper understanding evolves within the journey of life. This is made possible as His Word lights the path then we arise and begin to shine with an inner light of understanding. Apostle John describes this light in the first chapter of the Gospel according to John as " That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world" John 1:9.
'Renewed and Restored' is an easy read which is structured in a logical manner to enable an appropriate scaffolding of the reader's understanding. With well-designed graphics, the author appeals to a neuroscientific processing such that a deep understanding is ‘coached’ rather than ‘taught’ throughout the book.
This is a good book for discipleship as it provides a revolving lens by which day-to-day experiences can be reviewed individually by the reader or in small groups.
