I'm a product of Iowa so I'm slightly biased however this is by far the best whiskey I've ever enjoyed.

I leaned of this whiskey from my youngest brother who brought it out only for "special" occasions, this one being Christmas. I fell in love immediately with the smooth feel and the wonderfully sweet aromas of honey and cinnamon. There is a tremendous amount of flavor here. The finish is smooth with a hint of mint and oak but not overly pronounced. This is decidedly a gentleman's whiskey.

The history of this whiskey is rich and storied. Al Capone himself, during the prohibition era, favored this blend and donned it "The Good Stuff" from Iowa. Meryl Kherkoff, whose father helped make the whiskey during that time, has affirmed his father's recipe and continued the family tradition in Templeton, Iowa, legalizing the brand just recently and is truly worth searching for in your local area.

Small batch whiskey enthusiasts will agree this recipe is among the best around and well deserved of it's many awards. You will not be disappointed. Try a bottle today.
