The Red Veil is a new hot dance club in The Big Apple. The club holds some secrets....the biggest of which is that it's run by Vampires. It's a well known fact that Vampires and Wolves don't get along. In fact to have it's taboo to have a relationship with each other......or is it?
When a virus outbreak among the vampires, wolf hunters are called in to assist. Hot sexy wolf shifter Dash meets the ice-bitch queen of the vampires....aka Abigail. What follows is some of the steamiest paranormal interaction you can only imagine. Will Dash be successful in ridding the vampire community of the deadly virus?.....better yet will the smoken hot wolf be able to melt the beautiful vamps cold exterior? See what happens when forbidden love heats up your e-reader in this amazing romance tale.....then stay tuned for the next book in the series Tease Me coming in February.
This is the second review for this book since the author did a re-write.
The Big Apple has a new and exciting place to go for the night life.....called The Red Veil. A club run by vampires sounds like an interesting place to kick up your heels and maybe hook up with a hot sexy paranormal. Run by the beautiful vampire Abigail....affectionately known as "Bitch Ice Queen" with her icy persona. A mysterious virus that is causing the deaths of both vampires and weres as well as the vampires human source of food. Forced to work with werewolves to find a cure to this new mutated form of the virus proves difficult for the sexy female vamp.....especially when one wolf, Dash, causes all her juices to start overflowing.
I loved the topsy turvy relationship between Abigail and Dash. The secondary characters are really great too and hold lots of promise for more wonderful stories in this paranormal romance series that is The Red Veil!!
Abigail Bigly has been burned before, so when her sire insists that she deal with two werewolves attempting to determine the safety of her clubs, she is furious. Dash Collier just wants to get through with his job inspecting the vampire shadow houses and return to his pack, but the uptight vampiress intrigues him. The fact that she is so cool towards him only turns him on more, especially when he can tell she is interested. However, the recent outbreak of HepV has everyone nervous and Dash knows he must prevent a resurgence of it in the shadow houses.
If you're looking for a combination of vampires, werewolves and mysterious outbreaks, this is the book for you!

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book
It is against the law to cavort with the opposite "faction" but when two hearts speak to each other (even if they fight it tremendously) you cannot stop it. Dash will get what he wants. It's going to hurt. As only a vampire can hurt a were. Abigail is the cold-hearted, behind the scenes, "executive" HBIC vampire. And what she says goes. Unfortunately glimpses into her past ... well... they aren't good. Dash is the were for this job, but is he man enough to hold on tight.... even when the tough gets rough?
This author has really done great on the characters and how they interact with each other. This second book is amazing and can not wait for more from this author.
