Tempt is a fast paced story but it doesn’t lose any of the content in the read. As a matter of fact I found it rather enjoyable at how the story unfolded. Red or Rose in this case just as Red had was going through the woods to visit what I will say is one spicy little grandma. LOL I liked her spunk.
As the story unfolds you find Rose has had an encounter in the woods and was trying to piece it together and understand what is going on with her. Strange feelings, wonderful feelings, yet confused feelings. Her boyfriend Cody is pushing buttons and she isn’t sure how to handle it, but every time the wolf appears everything changes for her. As she realizes the wolf isn’t big and bad instead beautiful and makes her feel things she never felt before and she found herself longing for those feelings more and more.
The story is a very fast read and the only thing that stopped me from giving this a complete 5 stars I wanted to see more between Rose and Cody, I think what happens between them at one point in the story was left a bit unfinished but. But it certainly did not ruin the story for me as what happens after was rather enticing :)
I am no f/f erotica reader mind you, but I have always read Rene’s books because she has class when she writes her erotica stories and this one has class, there is nothing vulgar or degrading or well a turn off. It was a very exciting read!!
Wild women race barefoot through forests after beasts.
Rosetta -our heroine in this story- starts out as a seemingly normal, tame woman. She's young, pretty enough, but passive. Her life is dictated by the small town life around her; she can't even seem to stir up enough antipathy to fight against people using nicknames for her she hates (All of which I don't blame her for because seriously? RoRo? I'd roll right over someone for that particular nightmarish moniker.) so what makes her interesting?
She instantly starts to fall down the rabbit hole into a magical world of wild creatures and a wild woman who haunts her dreams, tempting her to take life instead of be taken by it.
Tempt is a great treat with a bit of trick mixed in to keep the reader guessing. I loved it from start to finish and I can't wait for the next installment in the series! It's an easy 5 stars from me.

So this novella is the bisexual edition of Little Red Riding Hood.
Twenty one yr old Rosetta (lil' red riding hood) has a serious boyfriend named Cody who loves her dearly and has some major lust for her. However, while on her way to Grandma's house in her little red cloak and brand new white Nikes, Rosetta comes under the enchantment of "the big bad wolf" (lesbo)... and the last thing she wants is her sexually frustrated boyfriend thereafter. Her dreams are erotically invaded by something entirely different... something female. Something not entirely human. Except when she is. And when that something manifests itself... Rosetta is claimed.
Not the biggest fan of fairy tales retold and this one didn't change my attitude much. And still I thought the premise had nice potential. Yet this story was wholly unremarkable and rather simplistic. Even a bit silly at times. And Rosetta seemed like a little girl. Something I expect in my paranormal stories is atmosphere... none to be had here. Nothing spooky, nothing descriptive, and I wasn't very moved by the intimate scenes. No real depth at all. Nothing particularly plausible, either. When Rosetta wonders why she's chosen... so do I. hmm.
And I'm with the other reviewer who pointed out this sandy colored (?!) wolf had scary claws in wolf form AND in hot blonde human form-what?... eh... no. These two have a dim future in the sack, I'd say, lol. Just sayin'...
But I gave it an extra star cuz of what happened to the boyfriend. It just struck me as funny, lol.
Love the cover... just wish that was the woman I could picture as I read.
