This book describes ten real places in the United States that are creepy, such as Marfa, Texas and Georgetown County, South Carolina. Many people have been amazed by spooky balls of light shining in the Texas sky. The Marfa Lights are still a mystery because no one can explain them. Georgetown County, South Carolina is the home of ten different ghosts. Many people believe that Georgetown County is the most haunted spot in the United States. These are just two of the creepiest places in America.

A Kid's Review on February 8, 2006
Format: Paperback
Have you ever heard of New Hampshire were you could and still see America's stone henge. Or North Carolina where witnesses have seen ghostly lights for centuries. Well if you like scary stories like these then the book America's Most Haunted True Scary Places by Allan Zullo and my opinion for the book is fantastic.

What I loved about the book was the choice of words like how he made it sound so eerie then give a good surprise. Something else I loved about the book was he was specific like if the place was the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, or 10 scary place in America. Here is an example of a scary place this place is the 23 scariest place Georgia, people call this place the Stair Way Spirite. There was a couple of troops that worked in the army when the bell went off and a young soldier was coming down the stairs when he stepped on an uneven step tripped and got killed.

For centuries people have stepped on the same step but the say they feel invisible hands under there feet and just a few years ago an old lady was coming down the stairs when she felt somebody lift her in the air and when she looked down she saw the young soldier smiling up at her.

I thought that was so sweet, and a little creepy in a way.

But if you want to here creepy then I hope this is creepy enough, Hannah's House will send a chill going down your back. What makes it so bone shattering is because doors have been shut by themselves, ghosts have been spotted and heard, sounds of glass have been heard but no shattered glass on the floor. What I think of those weird things is freaky, very freaky.

So if you're the person who Loves freaky, unexplained things happening. Then this is the book for you.

A Kid's Review on March 24, 2007
Format: Paperback
I like this book a lot. At the time I started following the greatest unsolved mystery ever "The existence of ghosts" I read this book. Now I watch all these creepy ghost shows on the Travel channel. And this book was also pretty creepy too. Every night (This was when I was 10) I'd hide the book away so I wouldn't see the cover. This is how much fun impact this book had. But if I ever do experience a ghost, I can't believe they could kill you or be friendly. I actually did have a ghost experience. In the Perriwinkle inn in cape may. Room 8. Ghosts had a tea party on my birthday, 8/23. Ikes!!!
