This book is based on a true story and to me, helps to prove that everything really does happen for a reason!
It's brilliantly written and holds your attention from start to finish. It's thought provoking, humerous and at times upsetting.
I found it extremely difficult to put down.
The book asks a lot of questions about whether your life is predetermined or whether it's fate. However they're asked in a way that lets you as the reader decide the answers for yourself.
It's categorised as a book for young adults but I would recommend this book to mature adults as well. It's a great read and shows that there is light at the end of the tunnel!

Guys!!!! You got to get this book and read it!!!!
It’s thought provoking! It’s sad but also very uplifting and inspiring... Certainly made me appreciate little things in life a little bit more
The only criticism I have is it’s not longer... could do with reading a bit more about James and his adventures and his thoughts on life 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
You won’t be disappointed 😃
The book follows James' life from a boy almost to the current day - the discovery of his brain tumour at 14 & how he believes it affects the pattern his life follows. There are some hilarious moments & also some very thought provoking, sadder ones but this is a book I couldn't put down & thoroughly enjoyed reading. I believe this is a true story which makes it all the more incredible. From Lottie's mum.
Told from the point of view of James, it skips along through his teenage years to when he is in his thirties. It seems that although some quite bad things happen to him, the effects they have on his life mean he is in the right place at the right time for something very good to happen.
Being aimed at young adults, it has quite a simple language, which I found to be a quick and easy read. However, it still very thought provoking, whatever the age of the reader.
Easy to read, hard to put down.
I recommend this to all.
