The "off-white" (ripstop nylon) tape is 20" x 3", it's thin but it is opaque. This fabric tape is flexible, very sticky, and strong. I used this tape to repair a small hole that our cat made on the wall of our new tent, the first time we set it up to inspect it. It did the job well, and doesn't look too bad either.

It is discreetly labeled as "Nylon" on the front of the package, but 'nylon' and 'ripstop nylon' are not the same thing. The product description here on Amazon is just as vague. There are 3 different types of tape being sold as "7 different colors", and it is not made clear what type of tape each "color" actually is.

So my dog ripped some sizeable holes in my pricey double sleeping bag. Looking on how to repair it I found great reviews on tenacious tape. I wasn't sure which to buy so I got both the clear and the green. Glad I did. I needed 2 rolls to fix the holes. There is only 20 inches in each roll. I now had a way to compare. I suggest if you get this stuff to repair nylon sleeping bags/jackets etc get the colored fabric tape even if it's not a great color match. The clear is bulky and in the end looks worse. I ordered another roll of the green now but for now the clear will do. This stuff really is TENACIOUS though. Sticks amazingly well!! have to say the FABRIC tape is amazing! The fabric tape is barely noticeable when you slide your hand over it. I wish the rolls were bigger but still it's worth it. The clear however is pretty horrible looking and hard to use on a sleeping bag. It also feels very bulky and well..... plastic. Might be good for something plastic. Definitely worth even a poor color match to use the fabric tapes.

This tape saved my brand new Marmot jacket. Dont hesitate to purchase this product, I am a perfectionist, this tape is awesome. I slipped down the stairs in my brand new Marmot jacket a week after I purchased it. Somehow I managed to get two precision cuts on the elbow of the jacket. I had down feathers flying out of the hole every time i moved my arm. I was truly disappointed that I ruined my jacket after only a week of use, I swore to myself that I will never buy another jacket with such thin material. After doing research I purchased this product, the picture doesn't do it justice, the tape makes my jacket look and wear like it is brand new again. I am fully confident that it will stay on it for the life of my jacket. I purchased the clear, it is barely noticeable, easy to apply, and slightly stands out because of the glare. I will now use it on all my outdoor gear. I wish I knew about it sooner, I would have fixed my backpacking tent that has a small hole on the side from an amber landing on it. The best solution out there. Very happy!

I used it on the inside and you can't tell it's there from the outside. You can only just see it on the inside - you can see from the photo. If you look at it straight on it is nigh on invisible, I angled the material so that the light would reflect off it otherwise you would struggle to see where the tape was.
Only time will tell how well it will cope with normal rubbing and sweat build up inside my jacket, but I'm expecting good things based on other reviews.

This tape is fabulous. It's easy to cut and apply to the holes and tears on the outer tent (I applied the tape to the inside of the outer tent so it's discreet). It seems to stick very well, and time will tell if it can stand up to the challenging weather I'll be taking my tent in.
Only downside is that it is very expensive for the small amount you get, so I've knocked a star off my review for that. However, if it keeps up to it's claims that it's virtually indestructible, then I will deem it a worthy investment and a success :-)
I now keep the rest in my tent repair kit pouch and hopefully I will never need to use it again.
