Tend Skin Solution effectively reduces the appearance of unsightly ingrown hair, razor bumps, and redness from shaving, waxing, electrolysis or laser hair removal


Shaving Applying Tend Skin Solution before shaving will help improve the appearance of ingrown hair thus giving you a clear, smooth and bump free skin after shave. Then apply Tend Skin after shave, this will leave your skin calm and supple. Applying Tend Skin Liquid religiously twice a day (even when you are not shaving) will give you the best results.	Waxing Applying Tend Skin Solution before waxing will make it easier to wax (pull). Again applying it after waxing helps reduce redness within minutes, and the next day you should have minimal post-wax skin bumps. Once waxed, hair follicles pop out after 2-3 weeks. So in order to reduce ingrown hair, you must start using Tend Skin Liquid once a day about 2 weeks after waxing.	Electrolysis Applying before electrolysis will help with electrolysis needle placement in the follicles. The product cleans the skin and adds contrast making it easier to visualize the area. Applying after electrolysis will reduce the post-electrolysis red appearance of the skin, usually before you leave the salon. Apply several times weekly to determine your individual maintenance level.	Laser Applying Tend Skin Solution after the procedure helps reduce the appearance of redness and next-day bumpiness. We advise not using Tend Skin prior to Laser procedures as it may block the light from reaching into the hair follicles.

Precaution:

Don’t overdo it, especially after waxing, electrolysis or laser hair removal which are all 'surgical' procedures; tissue is 'torn' or 'burned' during these treatments. Raw tissue is subject to stinging when almost anything contacts it.

As any woman worth her feminist salt knows- eliminating shameful pubic hair so that your nether region resembles that of a pre-pubescent teen is a urge that comes and goes depending on your mood, relationship status, and internalized misogyny. As a single woman in her 30’s I am currently experiencing a “dress for the job you want” moment with my vagina so I’m maintaining grazed pasture. I have always been susceptible to painful ingrown hairs and the only things I found that worked were very expensive so I didnt want to use it as often as I should to keep the bastards at bay. I have wanted to try this for some time as I've heard amazing things. Finally pulled the trigger as it's swimsuit season and ingrown hair and razor bumps plague my bikini line and my thighs, particularly the backs of them. To be honest, I get them everywhere I shave, my lower legs and armpits as well but they are especially bad in my nether regions. This hasn't been a huge deal as the last couple years I was holding onto my pregnancy weight so I've wanted to be more covered anyways, but I lost the weight this year and ditched the swim shorts to hide my upper thighs/bikini line. I'm unfortunately pretty damn hairy due to a hormonal imbalance, so my hair is very course and I'm very prone to all sorts of razor burn issues and ingrown hairs. Used this for the first time after shaving the other night, and I was instantly afraid that it would give me razor burn. My skin is super sensitive after shaving and the alcohol in this stuff STUNG, bad. Alas, I did not get razor burn from it and it actually dried up 4 ingrown hairs that Ive had for weeks within a couple hours. It has been a few days and I'm applying per the instructions. For the first time ever, I'm almost bump free and haven't had a single ingrown hair or pimple like razor bump form. Where has this been all my life??

This product definitely does what it was meant to do. My skin is pretty sensitive to shaving, at least on my legs, and I hate the looks of ingrowns. Exfoliating works... somewhat. It eliminates maybe 60% of the small bumps I get but I wanted something that would get rid of everything. TendSkin is actually pretty effective. I was lazy putting it on consistently at first and it honestly did not do much for my ingrowns. But when I started following the instructions and putting a generous on clean skin every day (after a shower), waiting for it to dry, and then moisturizing, the difference was night and day. I mean almost every ingrown I had was totally gone, and my skin was so soft and smooth.

So why the 3-star rating? Well there's two reasons... first of all, when I say you have to use a generous amount, I mean GENEROUS. Like get the skin wet, you almost have to pour it on. It dries pretty fast, as it is mostly alcohol-based. Since I was using this on my thighs which is where I mainly get all my ingrowns, that meant a lot of product. I would say using this consistently resulted in this 4 ounce bottle lasting me a month at a stretch. As a broke college student, that's way too much of an expense to consider buying this frequently. Also, I wish this came with a better application tool. A spray bottle would maybe work... but I would also be worried about breathing this in accidentally. I'm pretty sure this stuff is not good for your lungs (I have to hold my breath while applying). Cotton balls absorb a ton of product and waste it. So I usually apply with my hands, but that results in a really sloppy application and its super awkward... imagine trying to apply water to a large portion of skin. I think if they knocked down the price, I would be more open to buying this regularly... as of now the product waste along with the tiny amount (for my needs at least) just isn't worth it! :( If you can afford it though, it works very well.

Bought this for ingrown hairs in armpit and on bikini line. I suffer from Hidradenitis suppurativa, so I have been dealing with this horror all my life and am scarred.
I have used accutane, had my immune system blown out and have tried every cream, salve and lotion, also many rounds of antibiotics. Nothing.
Recent research has pinpointed infected hair folicles as the underlying cause.
I tried Tend on my armpits after reading it also works as a deodorant.
One week later and 80% of the clogged pores are gone. Tend makes it extremely easy to lift out the plug on the pore that starts the ingrown hair in the first place. Much of my scarring comes from trying unsuccessfully to remove them.
Have also tried on blackheads and just the smallest pressure gets them out.
It DOES work as a deodorant which means I am not adding to the problem with antiperspirant.
I know there are a lot of fake reviews, but if just one person with my kind of skin condition reads this, I hope you will try this because this is the only damn thing that has helped me.

Dab this on after epilating and within about 2 weeks the rash had gone down, and with regular use it hasn't come back. I get less ingrowns and the skin looks much healthier! I believe that over time it will continue to improve
