Applying Tend Skin Liquid before shaving will help improve the appearance of ingrown hair thus giving you a clear, smooth and bump free skin after shave. Then apply Tend Skin after shave, this will leave your skin calm and supple. Applying Tend Skin religiously twice a day (even when you are not shaving) will give you the best results.
Applying Tend Skin Liquid before waxing will make it easier to wax (pull). Again applying it after waxing helps reduce redness within minutes, and the next day you should have minimal post-wax skin bumps. Once waxed, hair follicles pop out after 2-3 weeks. So in order to reduce ingrown hair, you must start using Tend Skin once a day about 2 weeks after waxing.
Applying Tend Skin before electrolysis will help protect the skin during the procedure. Applying after electrolysis will calm the skin and reduce the redness within minutes. Apply several times weekly to determine your individual maintenance level.
Applying Tend Skin Liquid after the procedure helps reduce the appearance of redness and next-day bumpiness. We advise not using Tend Skin prior to Laser procedures as it may block the light from reaching into the hair follicles.

How to use Tend Skin Liquid?
Step 1: Exfoliate (Not Necessary)
Removal of excess dead skin, or exfoliation, helps to prevent ingrown hairs after the hair begins to grow back. Use a gentle exfoliating agent, like the Tend Skin Liquid on the area and wash it off with warm water.
Step 2: Minimize Friction
When moving an implement across your skin to remove hair, it's important to reduce the friction. Use Tend Skin Air Shave Gel for maximum comfort and a closer shave.
Step 3: Avoid Dull Razor Blades
People having difficulty with ingrown hairs and razor bumps should use a fresh razor blade each time, or every other time, they shave. The blade must not exhibit any 'drag' across the skin. In short, when shaving with a sharp blade, it should 'feel' as though there were no blade in the razor.
Step 4: Apply Tend Skin Liquid And Moisturize
Apply Tend Skin Liquid to protect your skin from razor bumps and ingrown hairs. However since Tend Skin will dry out the area we suggest using a moisturizer to maintain your skin's healthy glow.
Keep Calm and Use Tend Skin
Tend Skin works for Men as well
Razor bumps occur on the faces of many men particularly with wiry, curly hair. Shaving sharpens the hair-ends, making it easier for them to penetrate into the skin. Razor bumps itch, burn, and make shaving impossible. When applied regularly, Tend Skin Liquid effectively reduces appearance of unsightly razor bumps.
Woman's Underarm Before and After using Tend Skin
Applying Tend Skin Liquid after shaving will reduce appearance of the noticeable redness that appears on the skin after shaving. This is great for women after shaving legs, bikini lines and underarms as well as for men who see redness after shaving their faces.

You don't have to use a lot of it in order for it to work! I've had a bottle that I use everyday and It's lasted me a full three months. LESS IS MORE! when applying it, put just enough on a cotton ball and dab it across the entire area that needs it.
Anywho, This product does work, and yes it does kinda sting at first and has a not so pleasant smell. HOWEVER, over time, with consistent use it won't sting as much, and it really doesn't smell all THAT bad.
I am a black man that has suffered from terrible razor bumps due to wet shaving on my face and neck. This stuff is one of the only products (next to Barc Bump Down) I've used that has helped clear my skin back up, and trust me I have tried damn near EVERYTHING.
I first noticed results only a day after my first application, and my skin has stayed bump free since.
As a fairly hairy man, my facial hair grows very quickly. I like to keep myself closely shaven, so I shave roughly about every other day.
On the days that I shave, I first take a rag and run it under some hot water. I then place the rag on the areas of my face and neck I plan to shave and let it set for about a minute to help loosen up the hairs and open the pores. I then shave, after shaving I wash my entire face and neck with a deep cleanser or an exfoliator and pat dry. I then use the TEND SKIN, by placing just enough to lightly soak a cotton ball and dab it across my entire face and neck. Like I said earlier you don't need to use a lot for it to work! matter of fact, if you use too much it can dry your skin out terribly and probably make matters worse!
Several minutes after the area is dry, I apply a moisturizer.Read more ›
Oh how I wish this product was on subscribe and save. Going from "hopefully" shaving once a month to shaving multiple times a week has made a world of difference in my life. After spending a few months with the twice a day treatment, my legs were in a good enough spot that I only need to do it once a day after showering. I've gone from having only a few spots on my legs sore free, to having maybe a few sores on my legs. Scars are finally fading and I can wear shorts, skirts and swimsuits and feel amazing - NOT mortified. It seems trivial, but if you had to hide half of your body for most of your life, you'd understand the joy I'm feeling. Only downside is that this stuff will dry out your skin with excessive use, be sure to moisturize if you use it regularly.
Original (gross) review
A terrible combination of things to have, is a permanent state of "warm" (sweaty) and having extremely thin hair. Ever since I started shaving 16 years ago, I've developed an embarrassing, annoying, and painful condition called Folliculitis. Google it, it's pretty. All over my legs I have, essentially, a severe case of ingrown hairs. The *entire* length of both outside calves and inside thighs are the worst, nearly every square *millimeter* covered in scars or abrasions or both. If I'm lucky, I can shave once a month. I'm not normally that lucky. When I do shave, I get a good day of mild pain (from not shaving more than monthly lol), and then for the next 2 days, I will be in severe pain, and then the next 3 weeks I'll be "recovering" as my hairs go thru the cycle of getting trapped, tweezed, and then healing. Recently, I tried shaving twice in two weeks, and suffered the worst outbreak I've had in years.Read more ›
