BUT-- I CANNOT RECOMMEND this hug. The metal housing is simply the wrong size for a 3.5" FDD cutout. I had to grind off a couple of mm on both sized of the front panel of my PC to make it fit. Then I tried to put in the screws. You need to chase the threads (run a tap through) or you will likely strip the head of the screw when trying to secure this hub to your chassis. I bought this because it had the cable to connect to a USB3 header on either a motherboard or the Inateck PCIe--USB3 board. Next time, I'll get a different product from StarTech or some other reputable brand.
Original Review: I had read reviews that said this unit did not fit in the floppy-disk-drive slot, but thought that I could just use a bit of force and get it in. Nope. Apparently, the front bezel on my PC is the strongest part of the chassis with no give at all. Now I have to remove the bezel and grind off a couple of millimeters on either side, or grind off the sides of this unit, which will make it non-returnable. Rock and a hard place.
It is pretty silly to design something like this. No idea if the electronics work, but I'll update score and comments.
Installation was fairly simple, though the front-panel connectors needed to borrow power from a SATA drive (luckily I had a spare connector), and the front-panel tray didn't quite fit squarely into a 3.5" drive bay.
Two small nits: First, the orientation of the connectors on the rear can make it difficult to insert some cables, and second, I had a conflict between the USB driver and a USB Ethernet driver that caused bluescreens. Replacing the Ethernet dongle (which was garbage anyway) took care of the latter.
Tendak noticed my review and offered a partial refund which shows their commitment to customer satisfaction. I would buy from Tendak again.
Steer clear. Your hardware is at risk!

[Note: If you have a very large number of USB ports connected to your computer (in my case 20+) you *may* come across the well known Windows 7 MS Security Client Counter bug (Windows fails during boot up leaving a blank screen, ID 3). A solution is to boot up in Safe Mode and go to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> System Tools -> Performance -> Data Collector Sets -> Startup Event Tracing Sessions. Then, in the frame to the right on that window, select Microsoft Security Client OOBE, right click on it and select Properties, and click on the tab Trace Session and DISABLE it (uncheck the Enabled box). MSE still runs ok. Solution from VINCE1561981816 at social.technet.microsoft.com.]
The product is good quality, quite heavy duty actually for what it is. The black surround is metal and it was easy enough to install and fit neatly into the correct sized slot on the case.
