About the Author
I found Spiritism through the NDE of my wife. My search for how anyone could foretell precise events more 20 years in the future, led me to discover the truth of Spiritism. That we are all part of an overall process and that major segments of our life are planned out in advance to help us learn the lessons that we signed up in hope that we would improve in this life and be ready for the next life. I have found that we are guided in our lives by the Spirit world and that they are always present to assist us. We are immortal souls who travel through multiple reincarnations so we may one day become perfect spirits. Reincarnation is the process whereby each of us travel through multiple lives to learn to become pure spirits. Understanding the spirit world help us survive and thrive in our daily lives and allows us to surmount our troubles and bring them into perspective. Brian Foster has a BS degree in Computer Science and a MBA. Please visit my blog on Spiritism at www.nwspiritism.com

Last night I was once again reading NDE experiences on Dr. and Mrs. Long's website. These stories have been my staff and my comfort. I read Michael Joseph's story for the second time after which I googled "Michael Joseph NDE" to see if he produced any further publicly accessible writings. It was there I found Brian Foster's website and from there went to Amazon kindle and purchased 7 Seven Tenets of Spiritism.
I found the book to be delightful. It made me chuckle. At the same time I felt the ring of truth. I also found great hope about the conundrum that has plagued me.
Having been raised a Christian I have never been able to reconcile the contradiction between the concept of an all-merciful, loving God and the notion that we get one chance to make the grade or be condemned to eternal torture. As an earthly father I would never do such a thing and regardless of my children's behavior always give them as many opportunities as they needed to turn themselves around. So then how could a Heavenly Father be less loving and forgiving? Spiritism provides a logical and intuitive answer. The apparent contradictions between the Bible and science are also resolved. Science is right (for the most part) and God is right (always).
Many thanks to Brian for this book. I am a reader and will be exploring Spiritism with relish. Looks like I may have to learn to read Portuguese!
