First off, they look awesome. They provide a good range of motion for being one piece. While I don't plan to use these currently for a motorcycle/ATV, I do see how they would provide a good amount of resistance against high amounts of friction. Impact resistant is rather questionable. I don't see them protecting bones from breaking. However, the plastic material does seem quite sturdy, and I don't believe it will break easily.
Also, for those who worry/commented about how they are small, they aren't. No, they do not cover the entire shin. They aren't supposed to. They are short on purpose to allow for an ATV boot or similar type of boot to fit with the guards on. Hope this helps.
