About Teresa Cutler-Broyles
Teresa Cutler-Broyles is a visiting professor of creative writing at the Umbra Institute in Perugia, Italy, not far from the amazing garden of Bomarzo where her latest book 'Dante's Garden' takes place.
When she's not in Italy she lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA, where she teaches Film Analysis and Cult Film classes at the University of New Mexico (UNM). She also teaches creative writing at various online universities, and a class titled 'Writing Your Hero's Journey' for Story Circle Network.
Teresa has a Master's Degree in Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature, is on the Board of Advisors for the interdisciplinary organization Progressive Connexions, and will receive her Certification for Historic Preservation and Regionalism from UNM in May, 2018.
Her research and publication interests include food and wine and their cultural connections, architecture, landscape architecture and garden design, history, Shakespeare, teratology, media studies, Star Trek and culture, circuses, and travel.
Through her small company TLC Travels she organizes and successfully runs writing workshops in Italy. www.tlc-travels.com
