This is a great album. I have played this album almost constantly since I bought it a couple of years ago. I especially love the song 'When I'm With You' - it was a number one hit in France. The instrumental is also well worth listening to as it includes additional keyboards. Other key tracks are 'Noisy Boys' and 'Stereo'. I highly recommend this album, even for non-Sparks fans.

Wow. The Maels come up trumps again. This is like a stripped-down version of the previous album 'No One In Heaven'. Less experimental & more commercial. Very catchy, very sing-a-long -with great production by Giorgio Moroder. If you like electronic music you are well advised to give this great album a try!

Yeah the lyrics are basic, as is the instrumentation and song hooks. But the songs are oh so catchy. For example, 'Just Because You Love Me' - much of the song consists of the title repeated over and over again, but you feel compelled to sing along. The melody is so cool - hip and upbeat. 'Stereo' is another favourite of mine - and to fully appreciate the stereo effect I suggest listening to the song with headphones! Buy this album - you won't regret it!

Since the early/mid 70s I've pretty much loved everything Sparks has done. Here, with When I'm With You, Young Girls, Noisy Boys, and MY personal favorite - Rock and Roll People in a Disco World. I realized it's a terribly biased opinion, but you can't really go wrong with anything by Sparks. I like Kimono My House, Indiscreet, Big Beat, Dick Around, and Propaganda more, but this is very good too.

And what other band can tour the world (after having been around for 40 years) with just a keyboard (Ron Mael) and a vocalist (Russell Mael), call the tour 'Two Hands-One Mouth' and be a smashing success? You may not like this as much as some other Sparks releases, but you'll like it.

This is the follow up to the album that turned Sparks into a disco act; The No 1 in heaven. As it's predecessor it's produced by Giorgio Moroder, but this time aided, and I think, almost solely produced by Harold Faltermeyer. (Yes, that's the guy with the "Fletch" hit.) It is not as good as No 1, but it still spawned a no 1 hit in France, the dreamy "When I'm with you". This and "Young girls" beeing the standout tracks.
