- Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2016One of the best garage rock albums to come out of Puerto Rico since the Dávila 666 days, Terror Amor is a star-studded affair with special appearances by some of of Latin America's brightest rising stars, such as Alex Anwandter (Chile), Juan Cirerol (México), Las Robertas (Costa Rica), and more! There are also guest spots by Los Fabulosos Cadillacs's Sergio Rotman, Cole from the Black Lips, and Puerto Rico's Fofé Abreu (Circo, Fofé y Los Fetiches). The cool thing about these appearances is that far from turning the record into Santana's "Supernatural", they feel complementary and organic to AJ Dávila's sound, letting him remain front and center always. Great melodic hooks, a bit of fuzzy noise, a bit of an attitude and lots of heart --Terror Amor deserves a spot in anyone's collection.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 9, 2014AJ is also the front man for Davila 666, you know that already. This is some great stuff. Romantic Puerto Rican Punk rock. In a world of indy music that's as exciting as graham crackers, this stands out easily.
I wouldn't have ordered it here on Amazon had I known I would have to sign up for their cloud thingy that I will never use again. Really annoying over complicated system guys. AJ rules!
Hugs.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 29, 2014Great album, music-wise but know that the mp3 download may not work. Though the mp3 download is marketed as an extra, it is obviously part of the package that one pays for and if it doesn't work, then the product is clearly defective. I attempted to contact soundtrax.com, the website that manages the mp3 download, multiple time and they never responded. I would have bought the LP if I knew i wouldn't have access to the mp3s. I'll update this post if I manage to obtain the mp3 downloads that I paid for when I got this LP.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 11, 2014Found this album via Pitchfork and NPR. My favorite track is Tu, but the whole album is pretty solid. These guys are making the most badass music in the whole latin rock scene
