yup brings me back to the Late 80s when thrash was raw and.... not really timid. but "under produced" these guys are like raw original 80s thrash metal but with the brutal outrageous up front..( now that it's "accepted" violence) in your face music ..these cats are so young too their progression should be impressive

2014’s Terror Hungry is the second album from Finnish thrashers Lost Society, one of the new breed of bands paying (very) faithful tribute to the classic ‘80s thrash metal sound. Lost Society has some crossover/punk/hardcore elements to their sound, but for the most part this is simple, high-speed Exodus-style thrash.

I’m not a huge thrash fan, and when I do get into thrash I tend to stick with the classics. I took a chance on Terror Hungry in a clearance bin recently, and something about it really grabbed me. Maybe it’s the combination of the lead guitar and vocal style, since they remind me so much of Children of Bodom. The lyrics are kind of dumb, but it’s a fun kind of dumb. It’s a bunch of songs about thrashing and partying. They also throw in a cover of Twisted Sister’s “You Can’t Stop Rock n’ Roll,” which is a cool touch.

Lost Society isn’t doing anything here that a ton of old bands (and about as many new bands) haven’t done before, but they’re doing it well. If you’re into old school thrash with a crossover edge, give Terror Hungry a spin.

Thrastastic effort by these Finnish thrashers who don't try to reinvent the wheel, just drive it harder and faster. Excellent cover of Twisted Sister's You Can't Stop Rock n Roll! '80s era thrash fans will not be disappointed. Watch out Havok and Hatchet. These guys are giving you a run for your money.

Amazing album from start to finish! Sammy's vocals, and the overall sound, got a lot more brutal. This is an amazing thrash album that shows thrash ain't dead
