When I got the package I was even more concerned. They came in a mail parcel and inside they were in a clear plastic bag with a rubber band around it, not a shred of paperwork except the single tag on one shoe and not even a order invoice. I normally wear a size 13 in Merrell and a 14 in new balance so I was a bit concerned on how to fit would go. These fit exactly the same way my Merrells do. I have a narrow foot and as you can see in the pictures they fit pretty normally but I think if you had wide feet these probably would not be comfortable for you. The toebox is roomy enough but not the most roomie I have ever had.
I'm almost 100% certain that these are a knock off but considering how long shoes normally last it worth a shot. Going to run in them tomorrow to see how they hold up. Will follow up on their longevity.
-No arch (personal preference)
-Soft stretchy upper
-Durability is questionable
-Small toe box
-Slippage from insole
-Not as flexible as Merrell’s
-Not as secure as Merrell’s
-Tiny grooves in the sole design allow for small pebbles to get stuck
If you compare the shoe with Merrell’s, it is an inferior product. But if you take into account the cost, then the comparison is a bit more even. Expectations have to tailored with the cost of the shoe. I doubt the Tesla will last as long as my Merrell’s but ok with that. At the price, they can be easily replaced.
I would recommend these if you are looking for a cheap, basic, no frills minimalist shoe.
They lasted about a week and a half before the soles wore through (the sock minutes later) and now I’m LITERALLY feeling the side walk when I Run. AMAZING.
TRUE BAREFOOT RUNNING. I feel like a Tarahumara of course this could also be a fevered delusion brought on by whatever diseases I’ve caught from dirty ass New York sidewalks and streets.
NO RESPONSE FROM THE SELLER UPON INQUIRY.
Thirty bucks is pretty cheap for a pair of shoes admittedly but that’s STILL too much for how quickly these shoes fell apart.
