About the Author
Katie O’Connor is a proud Canadian married to her childhood sweetie and living her happily ever after. She is the mother 2 kids who have grown up and moved away, and 2 cats still at home. Katie's twisted mind is fuelled by Licorice allsorts and scotch. Coffee keeps her going and she’ll never turn down a steak. (She is a complete and total carnivore!) Something inside Katie drives her to create stories. It is impossible for her NOT to write. She claims that her head would explode if she kept all her ideas trapped inside. Katie's mind is a very busy place and the ideas just keep on coming. She has to jot them down some place, so her laptop is full of partially completed stories and dozens of idea files. She has tried her hand at writing just about everything. But her passion is, and always has been erotica. Katie just had to dig deep and give herself permission to write it.

The book is classified as erotica for obvious reasons; there are sex scenes galore. Though the scenes are exciting, they are not sizzling. And though all four main characters are have endearing qualities, all of them remained two-dimenstional until the end. Perhaps its because the book is too short, and there was not enough time for character development.
Anyway, it's still a good read that will occupy your attention for about 2 hours if you read it straight through.
Tessa has been burned. Bad. Telling herself she's done, she sets out and finds love, though not looking for it, in unexpected places. The story is fairly fast-paced with characters that are relateable. The scenes are hot and steamy. The guys in the story are sexy and yummy sounding. The story itself is fairly decent. I could envision the scenes and felt connected to the characters. You will want to invest in some of the characters more than others depending on the part of the story. For instance, I was all about Rob, but then there's Peter. And Mitch. And oh my. Rawr. I like that the author was able to make me fight it out in my head which man was better. In the end, they all had something to offer her.
While Tessa may come off as maybe biting off more than she can chew, I like the fact that she did with all three. I know I'd have a hard time choosing so why not have it all if you can make it work? Heck, yes!
Great storytelling. Worth the read.
