Tessa's Wishes is a nice wholehearted heart warming romantic story. Once I started reading this book I couldn't stop. Karen's writing and the way she tells a story really made the characters come to life. It's been a long time since I have actually felt so close to a character in a book. If you want to read something that will keep you hooked until the end I really suggest you should get this book. But I must warn you that TESSA'S WISHES is actually book number 3 in a series of books. I didn't know that when I read this book. But it is so well written it really didn't matter. I will now be looking to get the other books in the series.
I received this book free from a giveaway and all thoughts about this book are my own.
I was given an ARC of this book for an honest review. This book is a clean romance without sex scenes but there is some cursing.
It was nice to spend time with Ava, Holly and Tessa again. I liked Tessa in Holly's book and was excited to spend time with her again. Tessa has been hurt by her ex fiancé and is understandably nervous to step into the dating pool again, when along comes Todd. I really liked Todd and the interactions between Tessa, Todd and Sophia and was hoping for them to have their HEA.
I don't want to give away spoilers so being vague here, my rating is because I didn't like Nicholas very much. Because it was single POV (Tessa's) we couldn't get inside his head to understand why he did what he did, that made me less sympathetic to him in the end. I guess I'm not quite as forgiving as Tessa. I would have made him sweat a little more before I forgave him.
