This barbecue sauce is mildly spicy and very flavorful with good consistency. I love baking chicken pieces marinated in this sauce, or adding the sauce to pre-cooked chicken or ribs. There’s a barbecue place near our house that sells awesome pulled pork, beef brisket, and ribs, and we love using Mattie’s sauce instead of the too-sweet sauce the restaurant gives away with their smoked meats. We don’t enjoy Tessemae’s ketchup, the flavor is a little one-dimensional and flat, but another great product they make is their habanero ranch dressing. Creamy and spicy, I love it paired with tomatoes and avocados.

I absolutely LOVE this Dijon. When I was preparing to do my first Whole 30, I was ecstatic to learn that there was a Dijon that was compliant to the program. I use Dijon on almost a daily basis in my salad dressing, so I was in a bit of a panic (lol, pathetic, I know) thinking I'd have to go without on the program. It has a great bite, and honestly, I don't even taste the difference between my previous favorite Dijon (with wine) and this one.

My only issue is that Tessemae's keeps running out of this product - it is currently unavailable now (January 2017) and I have no idea when it will be back in stock. I have not been able to find a compliant Dijon that has the same kick to it as this one... Highly recommend if you don't mind it going out of stock every few months.

We ordered the 2-pack of Tessemae's Matty's Organic BBQ sauce. We received it January 23, 2020, and it was dated 24APR20. I would not have purchased two bottles of BBQ sauce at the store with such a soon expiration date. In addition, my husband opened one of the bottles and used it. He said it was bad. It was so thick it would hardly come out of the bottle, and did not taste good. The amazon web site states this item is not eligible to return, however, the quality of this item is unacceptable. Returns should be taken for an item with such poor quality that I would call it defective.

I wrote a review before, but it was never published to the web site. Do NOT buy this product from LTF Distribution!

Probably the best “paleo” or “keto” BBQ sauce I could find. Many, if not most, LCHF BBQ sauces have sucralose. As a trucking family, if you knew what chemicals were used to make sucralose, you wouln’t eat the stuff, and we don’t. This one has dates which is a “sugar” but it’s a REAL FOOD. We would rather take the hit on a carb or two with real food then fake foods.

My husband likes this. To me, it is actually too sweet. We have been nutrient dense keto for 9 months, no cheating, and I make very few “sweets”. I taste sweet very easy now.

For quality and ingredients this really probably is one of the best out there. I just wish it wasn’t quite so sweet.

Tried this brand as have tried every other whole 30 compliant mayo under the sun and they all tasted gross. This one actually has a really good flavor. I ordered the two pack here, and one jar arrived fine, used that one up no problem. The other jar was separated, all oil rose to the top. I attempted to mix it back together but it did not work and ended up throwing it out. I would have given this a 5 star review for taste, flavor, texture etc, had it not been for the separated jar. Paying 11$ for a jar of mayo that you cannot even use is a bit much. I may give it one more try, just because it was good, but if that happens with my next purchase, will not purchase again.

I live in Memphis, so BBQ is something I am very familiar with. This sauce is like a mix between Memphis and Carolina BBQ styles. I like it a lot. My husband and I are making ribs this weekend. I'm on Whole 30, so my ribs won't have any sugar. I'm worried the ribs will get dry in the oven, because of the lack of a sugar crust. Hopefully this sauce will save them.

If your a fan of a sweet/spicy sauce and mustard, then I think you will like this.

Hands down the best packaged mayo available. I love this company and I love all their products. Finding mayo without sugar is very difficult unless you get the brands made with avocado oil-which I can't stand (assertive flavor and gelatinous texture). Tessemae's mayo is silky, neutral in flavor and there isn't any funny business going on with the ingredients.
