Reasons for Beeping Alarm

  • Over Load Voltage Protection Function: The Threshold Voltage Default Parameter is 35.0V. To adjust the Overload Voltage(1.00-35.0V Range Setting),please switch to the volatage > 35.0interface;double press on the button to increase 1v while 3 click on button to decrease 1V.If the detected voltage is higher than the setting voltage, the test will make a beeping alarm sounds.
  • Low Voltage Protection Function:Switch to the voltage < 0.00V interface, the default voltage threshold is 0.00V.To adjust the low voltage(0.00V-34V Range Setting),double click on the button to increase 1v while 3 clicks on button to desrease 1V(Long press the key will continually reduce or add the data to the voltage). If the detected voltage is lower than the setting voltage, the test will make a beeping alarm sounds.
  • Overcurrent Protection Function: Switch to the voltage>10.0A interface, the default current threshold is 10.0A.To adjust the current(0.20A-15.0A Range Setting),double click on the button to increase 1A while 3 clicks on button to decrease 1A(Long press the key will continually reduce or add the data to the current). If the detected current is lower or higher than the setting current,it will make a beeping alarm sounds.

Misunderstanding of USB tester

Q:The tester said the 96w MacBook Pro charger is providing 32W of power.

A:Excellent chargers have smart chips inside, it will adjust the voltage, current and wattage according to the device, avoid charging overload and other phenomena, and better protect your device. When the power of the device exceeds 70%, the charger will start to reduce the voltage, charge slowly and reduce the wattage. So the 96w charger will display 32W power

Q:Why does the tester say that my 10000mAh Power Bank is only 7407mAh.

A:When the voltage is 5V when discharging, multiply mAh by 1.35 after discharging, and when discharging the voltage is 9V, after discharging, multiply mAh by 2.45.7407*1.35=10000 mAh.

Test power bank and usage of crocodile clip

If you are using to test the Power Bank, please fully charge the Power Bank, insert the tester and double-click to clear the data the tester, and connect the load or mobile phone (the mobile phone needs continuous use, you can play music or watch videos). Power Bank After the power is exhausted, connect the tester to the charger, and there is no output.

So far, the capacity MAH value shown above is multiplied by the ratio of the lithium battery output voltage to the power bank.

(mAh is multiplied by 1.35 when output is 5V, and mAh is multiplied by 2.45 when output is 9V, which is equal to the exact capacity of the battery of the power bank.)

If your device does not have a USB port, but has positive and negative terminals, you can use a USB double-ended alligator clip cable. By connecting the positive and negative terminals, the crocodile clip can convert a device without a USB port to a device with a USB port. Connect it to a tester for testing.

2.0 out of 5 stars Looks like a lot of features with almost no instructions.
By rswsmay on September 24, 2019
Here are my initial thoughts after opening the package and spending about 15 minutes with it. The instruction sheet is only about 4.5" by 3.5" with small print and very small and somewhat indiscernable illustrations. The printed instructions are absolute unintelligible gibberish so it is very little help. When plugged into a USB power source, it constantly beeps with no apparent way to silence it which is very annoying. There is nothing in the instructions that seem to suggest there is any beeping function at all.

4.0 out of 5 stars Worth figuring out it's quirks.
By Michael E. Walraven on November 29, 2019
Good product,in the running for worst manual however.
The aux data display is to small for my old eyes. Need a magnifying glass to read. The important volts and amps are fine however. I show the main screens in the pictures.
Watts is not obvious, symbol is topped with a squiggle (sine wave?) And a something below it. I think the ohms is simply calculated as volts/amps, not somehow measuring the cable resistance as some postings have implied. There seem to be several variations with the same part number. Mine may be latest with the time indicator at the lower right. If turned on it will measure for a selected time period and then stop. Could be useful to see how much charge was delivered in one hour without having to baby sit it. I saw one YouTube video seemingly showing a failure of the USBC connection. Samsung note 10+ and its charger use a protocol PPS (programmable power supply) no voltage is present at the charger until the charger and the device have negotiated a suitable volts/ amps combination. So nothing will show on the tester until BOTH charger and device are connected.
