I was so proud of him because he did all the research himself to figure out what he needs to buy and how to setup and maintain the fish tank.
He initially purchased Betta Pellets but for some reason his fish wasn't eating it...
He did some more research and found out that freeze dried blood worms are good for them as a treat, in addition to regular flake food so we purchased this to supplement the regular diet.
It's a small container that is sealed but it is packed with dried blood worms and his Betta fish loves them!
I have included some photos to show the size in scale as well as video of the feeding.
THE BOTTOM LINE:
5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended! I hope this helps and if it did, please vote so that it helps others, too. You can leave a comment below if you have any questions.
I had him on the color flakes for awhile and his movement slowed down.
He wasn't very active and playful like he used to be.
I put him on these and hes completely turned around.
I like to give some variation in the diet. The smell is a bit bad but beta loves it so it is fine.
The bloodworms last for a good time. So it is worth the money.
Just make sure to give small bits. Also, be careful not to spill the worms.
Finally, never overfeed your beta. Err on the side of underfeeding. Or else you will have a bloated unhappy beta :(
