The masters at Enhance did it again, providing one of the most atmospheric games I've ever played. I haven't played this good of a Tetris game since Tetris DS but man this game is one hell of an experience. Can easily recommend this in general especially if you want one of the best VR implementations. Just be prepared to get your ass kicked in the later stages.

It's a solid Tetris implementation, with lots of aesthetic bells and whistles, and not much else. The exclusion of multiplayer is completely inexcusable. In this regard, the 30-year-old B/W portable version is actually superior to this glammed-up spectacular, which makes it hard to feel good about a full-priced modern console game.

The effects and music are very good. The visuals aren't stellar, but considering that you'll be viewing them in peripheral vision, they're just fine. The game does interesting things with pacing, switching between a relaxed pace and breakneck speed, which is interesting. Generally, it delivers on expectations - as long as you don't want to play with friends.

The way I see it there are two ways to enjoy this game:

Number one; Tetris. Tetris is Tetris. By now everyone knows what that is. If you're concentrating on playing the game the VR aspect is wasted on you since you're not paying attention to the background. If you're paying attention to the background your Tetris game will suffer.

The other way to enjoy the game is to turn the difficulty to easy and just trip out on the VR experience. The music and the visuals are hypnotic and can put you into a trance. Your trance may depend on what you've decided to put into your body before playing. If you want to trip out to crazy videos in VR you can download the PS Youtube app for free and find some cool stuff there.

The only reason I bought this was because the price temporarily dropped to $19.99 when the product was out of stock. I think paying $30-$40 for this game is too much unless you are a HUGE Tetris fan. It's a cool experience and you can spend more time playing this than a lot of the short PSVR games that are out there but to me it's not worth paying full price for.

***UPDATE***

After beating the main game you can check out all of the visuals without having to play Tetris at the same time, so if you want to sit back, relax and trip out you have that option. But completing the main game takes considerable skill.

Great game. I haven't played it in VR (which I heard was the way to go) but regardless it's a super fun take on a old game. Bright colors, cool level design, lots of cool different new modes and relaxing music - love the new iteration of this game. A staple in anyone's PS4 library. Easy to pick up, difficult to master.

I keep seeing this ranked as being one of the best VR games out there, so I figured I'd give it a try. I'm not a huge Tetris fan, but I was curious. It is an extremely pretty version of Tetris. It's like playing tick-tac-toe, where each selection involves fireworks, while a stadium of bizarre characters cheers you on. Ok, not quite, but this pretty much describes how much of this game involves changes in the original game play, and how much of it is window dressing.

It does have a lot of good features, although I don't know how many of these are common among previous iterations. It has a "saved part" buffer that allows you to shift to the next part and place the previous part later. It has good left/right shifting, rotating, drop-now, etc. Overall, I'm not sure how much benefit I get from these shifts since I'm not terribly practiced at the game in the first place.

Aún no lo termino por completo, pero hasta ahora me ha encantado, me fascinó la manera en la que tu gameplay varía un poco cada canción. Y en verdad la segunda canción era mucho mejor en el Demo, qué mal que cambiaron la versión.

En cuanto al envío, el disco llegó suelto, me parece que la cajas de los cd, necesitan un rediseño, ya que cuando compras videojuegos físicos en línea casi siempre llegan sueltos, me imagino que es por todo el manejo que implica el envío.
