>These boots are extremely comfortable right out the box which is not all that common. Soft lining, firm but comfortable insoles, and great arch support.
>The Leather feels high quality and I believe it will last a good while.
>I thoroughly enjoy the overall style of the boot. Modern, fashionable, and pretty unique. Some reviews talk about the magnitude of the magenta color, and I understand where they are coming from. I used to be scared of color too.So I bought these shoes actually hoping that the color would stand out because I'm trying to be a little more adventurous in my attire and I believe this is a good start. However if you are scared to go out of the bland color comfort zone like I was then these aren't the boots for you.
>Also if you are new to adding color to your wardrobe, don't worry about these boots limiting what you wear. The magenta is understated enough so that you can get away with wearing pretty much any color pant/shirt combo and still look great.
> The one con I would have to say is the outer sole. When viewing the pictures before my purchase I was concerned about the foam looking outer sole. I am used to either a leather or TPR sole and the thought of this foam made me a little uneasy, to say the least. It reminded me of those cheap grandpa shoes from Walmart. Albeit I made the purchase, due to the significant price drop (from $145 to roughly $30). Once I had the shoes in hand however I think I can live with them. They aren't Redwings or anything but for the price they are terrific.
Included are four pictures, with one under a white paper so you can better see the magenta color
For me, when it comes to boots, I need a good, thick, durable sole that I can depend on for years. These soles are soft and very comfortable to walk on, but eventually, they will wear down with no tread left, which puts you at a disadvantage if you are clambering over any terrain other than urban walkways.
My only gripe about these boots are the soles, which I really loved at first because of the soft step in your stride; however, they will wear down and shorten the life of your boot.
The leather on these boots hold up very well if you keep it clean and polished, and I have had no problems with any kind of vinyl coating coming off or getting excessively wrinkly. All around a great purchase!
