Dear Valued Customer,
This is a common problem, as most of our product is made with materials that are not meant to be left in extreme heat or direct sunlight, otherwise, they are prone to shrink. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused
Thank you for contacting Teva!
Teva Customer Care
I probably have greater confidence in the product and bought another pair. Four days in the beach sun without a problem. My original pair was 5+ years old and only yielded to age.
Photos of all three attached. Unfortunately I'm still out $50.
Enter these Teva flops. They give about as much support as someone could realistically expect from a flip flop. The footbed holds to my feet so there is no sliding on and off while walking. The strap is wide and comfortable. And the sole is sturdy. I’ve pedal bikes for miles wearing these as well with no abnormal fatigue.
For my money ($40) they are perfect. Now to see how long they last.
Update. I still have them. I still use them. Haven’t broken or degraded.
I started to suffer from Plantar Fasciitis last year. In spite of Ibuprofen, ice packs, and foot massage, there were days I could barely walk, and was limping in pain by the end of every day. After one day wearing these flip flops, and the pain completely disappeared. I don't know why Teva stopped making these in women's sizes (they make other strappy sandals with the same sole for women, just not flip flops), but for women whose feet are 8.5 (W) or largely, I highly recommend them.

These are amazing flipflops; they're sturdy and grippy enough for light hiking (anywhere you have a footpath basically), and comfortable enough for every day wear. I have just ordered abother pair from amazon as my last one failed after 4 years. The strap became separated from the sole after my daughter stood on the heel for the millionth time. If you don't have a clumsy 7 year old around they might last until you wear through the sole (which is very thick and hard-wearing).
