Teva is an authentic icon in the outdoor industry. Founded in the early 1980's by a Colorado River guide, Teva pioneered the sport-sandal category. For more than 20 years on rivers, in canyons, and across the trails of the great outdoors, athletes and enthusiasts have traveled the globe comfortably and confidently in Teva footwear. Providing positive contributions to the world in which we play is at the core of everything Teva stands for. The Teva name itself is a Hebrew word meaning "nature" and the hand logo is the Hopi symbol for "friendship" and "water." Teva supports the outdoor athletic lifestyle and remains committed to innovation in outdoor performance footwear, the platforms which carry enthusiasts beyond the offices of the day-to-day and onto the rivers, trails, and canyons of the next adventure.

I am not sure how attached you are to a good pair of flip-flops, but these babies rope you in for life. I don't mean the life of the shoe either...expect to love them so much that you have to buy a second pair for when you come back to buy a replacement and freakout that they are out of stock when yours are on their last leg (save yourself the trouble and order 2 now).
I wear these almost everyday in the summer. They are my go to flip-flop for everything and work wonderfully at the beach too. I even wear them as part of my daily commute and switch to more appropriate footwear at the office. It take a week or so to break them in, but they really seem to sort of conform to your feet the more you wear them. Mine typically last 2 years which is when I seem to have worn in a hole in the sole near the heel.
There is a men's version too, hubs doesn't wear his often as I wear mine, but sometimes I steal his pair too (shh) which has lasted him about 4 years or so and is just now showing a small worn hole starting in heel area.
Try them..your feet will wonder why you didn't sooner.
