About the Author

Dirk Van Hulle is Professor of English Literature at the University of Antwerp. With Mark Nixon, he is co-director of the Beckett Digital Manuscript Project (BDMP). He is also editor in chief of the Journal of Beckett Studies. Van Hulle is the author of Textual Awareness, Manuscript Genetics: Joyce's Know-How, Beckett's Nohow and The Making of Samuel Beckett's 'Stirrings Still' and 'what is the word'. His most recent publication is Modern Manuscripts: The Extended Mind and Creative Undoing.

Dirk Van Hulle is Professor of English Literature at the Centre for Manuscript Genetics, University of Antwerp, Belgium. He is President of the European Society for Textual Scholarship and his previous books include "Textual Awareness" (2004).
