I believe that this is a wonderful invention as I absolutely love magazines and used to spend almost $50 per month. But after I downloaded the app and opened it on my tablet to see a magazine, I found a lot of difficulty. In order to read an article I had to enlarge the page, but the page seemed to divide, top and bottom. And it was cumbersome. The page I wanted to see was interfered with by the smaller part of the page that did not enlarge.

I really wished that it worked for me...

It's hard to get a bad review of this app posted or approved. They will email you with politically bias unwanted emails like they work for the democratic party. They should stick to doing what the app is meant for and that's providing you with access to magazines to read. You can't use it on your computers which is a terrible downside.

Worst app ever. I signed up for the 6 month subscription with the free fire table. Not only did I not receive the Fire table, but can't get it to work on my Fire HDX. I've tried working with Texture's support with no success. It allows me to log in but does not recognize that I purchased a Premium subscription so it keeps trying to sell me one. It's basically useless without a subscription and that's where I stand. Out 85 dollars with nothing to show for it. Buyers beware.

Needs some back office IT! This app is a great collection of media, however, the platform it is delivered on is less than stellar. Pages don't load, articles don't load in the background (or foreground) consistently. The delivery method needs to be streamlined and revamped across all platforms (Kindle, iOS, and PC). The app for Windows is especially disappointing. Notwithstanding, for the money you can't get all this content in one place for a lesser fee.

This is a great magazine app.I get all the magazine's that I read without any clutter to lie around the house plus if I don't have time to buy and read an issue with Texture I can always go back and read the back issues.I was spending a lot more a month for the magazines I read then I do for this a month plus now I can read a lot more different magazines since I don't have to buy them individually with this I have access to over 150 magazines and Texture is always adding new ones.If you like to read a lot of different magazines or even a few this apps for you!!

A great value - you get a lot of magazines for a low monthly price. We have the basic subscription and my wife loves it - she reads LOTS of magazines. The app works well on our Fire HDX tablet - I'm just happy to see it's back on the Amazon store, because they took it away for a while and I had to side-load it and keep up with updates manually (when it used to be called NextIssue). The app works well on a touchscreen (you can also use it on a Windows laptop, but the interface is too touch-centric to work well there). They give you extra content on many magazines, too, which is nice to see - it's not just a straight "print on screen" type situation.

If you like reading magazines, and you're interested in the ones they offer, this is a great way to go. Even my wife, who said she loved handling the glossy paper... she has "converted" to using the app and enjoys it. Being able to view a preview or link immediately (can't do that on paper!) is great!

I didn't think I was going to like the way the magazine was going to display but I was wrong. Very clear image and easy to read. You're not having to move the page up and down. Shows complete page and easy to see print. If you like reading magazines online then this is a good way to go.

A "premium" magazine service should provide exceptional content with seamless convenience. Texture Premium fails miserably.
1. Limited titles: When you count up the number of titles Texture offers, it sounds like a lot but given the many thousands of magazines and journals available, this is only a tiny sampling. Notably missing: premium offerings like those from Taunton Press (Fine Woodworking, FIne Gardening, etc), Cook's Illustrated etc., regional magazines like those city lifestyle mags that are invaluable for planning a trip, Sunset, etc., and any sort of specialty publication.
2. Cannot be used on a PC or Mac - only on a tablet. Zoom is limited and (unless you have a really big tablet) reading is awkward.
3. After you sign up with Amazon you must create an account and sign in, then download the appropriate app for you device (phone or tablet). Even when signed in, Texture will continue to offer you promotional rates and ask for payment info (though they already have this from Amazon).
4. Texture is frequently "off line", so that you can't always access content.
5. You will automatically receive daily emails from Texture, even after you stop your subscription. The first of these I received (from "no reply") was entitled "Was it something we said?" After the third one I realized there was an unsubscribe option. Thankfully, the emails have stopped since then.
