One of the best primers for Rigid Heddle Weaving

This, along with Davenport's "Hands On Rigid Heddle Weaving", are the two must have books for Rigid Heddle weaving. "Textures and Patterns for the Rigid Heddle Loom" explores many variations of weaving, including twill patterns. The excercises are done in such a way that the beginner who already knows how to warp the loom, can produce sample after sample, adding to the weaver's knowledge base in such a way as to build logical next steps.

I thoroughly enjoy working through these excercises. I only wish that Davenport, and others, would consider the advantages of three heddle weaving on the Rigid Heddle Loom, which provides true four-shaft weaving capabilities.
