Sprinkle liberally on everything for great taste. Thai red onions are small with a strong, fragrant taste. Red onions are also known as shallots. Use this as a garnish for all kinds of Thai soups and fried rice dishes found in our recipe section. An interesting Thai recipe we suggest that uses fried onion is sadao nampla wan. Product of Thailand. We also offer fried garlic.

One of the things I've missed since going gluten/grain free is fried onion rings, and french fried onions to use in casseroles, etc. Thanks to the reviews her from other celiacs, I ordered these. Can I just say, I'M IN LOVE! These are actually *better* than French's French Fried Onions. They pack a lot of flavor in a little bit. For anyone eating low carb, you can add a teaspoon of these (believe me, that's a lot of flavor) for no additional carbs. I just baked some low carb buns, chopped a tablespoon of these fried onions into little bits, and sprinkled on the buns before baking. Just like magic, I have Onion Bread buns for burgers and sandwiches. Also garnished a cup of soup with these crumbled on top. Delicious!
Yes, the shipping is high, but in my case, it's a better option. I found a similar product in a local Asian Market, but when I got home with them I discovered they were stale. The ones I ordered through this vendor were fresh and crispy. I plan to keep these in my pantry at all times. They'll be going on and in many things that I bake for extra flavor and no carbs.
Excellent product. I have celiac disease and need to eat gluten free foods. These onions are gluten free were subsituted for the traditional fried onions in my gluten free green bean casserole. Everyone at our Thanksgiving dinner loved the taste of the casserole. I highly recommend them to everyone, whether they are "gluten free" or not.
