.....given the rich outrageousness of many Bangkok cab shrines I've enjoyed from the back seat, these pics seem a little on the only very good side, on average.

However, 'not too many books about SEA vernacular buddhist art, the text is great, and the price for a big book of this quality is super reasonable.

This colorful ride through Thai spiritual decorations is both fun and informative. I have been to Thailand numerous times and must say that the photos make me feel like I have just hopped into a taxi headed for Victory Monument. Plus the text tells a lot about what the statues and stickers all mean. Highly recommend this book to anyone interested in Thai or Southeast Asian culture.
