I’ve never consumed Chili’s of this stature. I just eat hot stuff without really knowing how the heat got there. I soaked these in water and simmered it for a few minutes. I was told these have great flavor. I took one of the chilis out of the water and popped it into my mouth. It tasted amazing, but I was not expecting the fiery oven in my mouth. Of course, I knew I was asking for some trouble when I added arbor chilis and 2 tablespoons of Carolina reaper paste. I find this kind of torture to be fun and adventurous. My dog doesn’t trust me anymore after I spilled some of my sauce on the floor and licked it up. That speaks to the flavor. She didn’t even hesitate. Never have I seen a dog drool so much induced by the level of heat.

Well, they're definitely thai chilis. Nice and fiery.

I prefer these over other cheaper ones, since with those other ones one can find a good number of peppers that look like they were rotting before being dried. You know, off-color, sort of shriveled and yellowish with blackish bits.

I've probably been through about 3 lbs of these things over the years, and I don't think I've found one single pepper I decided to toss in the trash.
