What I would have enjoyed more would be some writings that address what happens to a missing sock or glove as those are personal experiences that would be easier for an audience member like me to relate to than a missing left shoe. My own tastes would have preferred some additional fictional allusions to real televised cases that had unsatisfying conclusions such as People v. OJ Simpson wherein a black glove pair tips the decision makers scale more than a Bruno Magli shoe pair in the criminal trial but not so in the civil trial. I would have also preferred pictures that would look okay on my black and white e-reader as the red shoe was hard to see on my e-reader but was recognizable on my desktop.
Overall, I thought the book was a lot more creative than I imagined it would be. I highly recommend this compilation for anyone hungry for a creativity feast.
