Editorial Reviews

From Publishers Weekly

In this improbable contemporary romance, 10th in the Grayson Friends series, beautiful and successful resort event director Skylar Dupree gets tired of yearning for handsome, stoic security director Rio Sanchez and decides it's time to be more proactive. Dressing provocatively and trying to entice Rio with delicious food has little effect, however, since Rio has no interest in a relationship. Despite his obvious lack of interest, Skylar continues to throw herself at him, refusing to take no for an answer. As Rio slowly begins to cave to his colleague's unceasing efforts, Skylar's safety is threatened by an unknown source. When Rio realizes just how much danger Skylar is in, he begins to reevaluate what she really means to him. There's no appeal in the too-perfect cast of talented and rich players, nor in Skylar's over-the-top infatuation and aggressive behavior, which makes Rio's love for her look like Stockholm syndrome. Agent: Elaine Koster, Elaine Koster Agency. (Nov.) --This text refers to an alternate kindle_edition edition.
