I like fake marriage romance when they are well written. This one the heroine was to annoying. It felt like it dragged. It took forever for things to fall into place. I can not enjoy a story when the character gets on my nerves almost through the whole book. I hated Faye's characters. I did like the epilogue, that is about it though. The annoyance lingered to the end. I was to frustrated reading this, and could not enjoy it. I am not a fan of back in fourth. To much push in pull annoys me.
This was a great story once I started I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Sam and Faye is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any of my book friends.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. I enjoyed it so much I bought my own copy.
I was also disappointed that Sam was written as hooking up with groupies over a years time. How can someone that claims they are enamoured by another do such a thing especially when they srill saw one another while Moon toured.
Although these topics bothered me (which I am more in likely in the minority from reading too many romance books with the similar writings of repeating those feelings chapter after chapter) the story got better and better as I read it.
Fan or never read Amy Brent before, this book will make you a fan.
Although you can read That One Night as a standalone, it is so much better to read My Best Friend's Ex first so you'll see more of Sam and Faye's interactions.
