I have always used witch hazel to clean my face and it definitely helped with my acne but my face always had a red tone that I just assumed was natural. Once I switched to this the redness has decreased TREMENDOUSLY. As has my acne. The pictures are a 2 month progress report. I will never use anything else. I have stopped wearing makeup my face is so clear. I hope it stays this way.

I went through a really bad break out while in my mid 20s. I had never experienced the acne I was getting, cystic acne along my jaw line and cheeks, never ending redness and the list can go on and on. I went to a dermatologist and spent hundreds on different medications. When that wasn't working I finally got this along with castor oil. The combo of both not only cleared up my acne but helped clear the scars and redness that was left behind.
My evening routine:
I use my clarisonic and it's wash in the shower at night.
When I get out I use my Thayers toner on my face and neck.
Then I put castor oil on my face for the night.
Morning:
Wash with my clarisonic and wash.
Use my Thayers before sun screen lotion and makeup
Seriously suggest this product. I have my mom and sisters using it as well and they love it.

As a person with acne prone skin, I will vouch for witch hazel the rest of my life. In general, witch hazel works as a natural antibacterial, ridding your skin of acne causing dirt and bacteria without making it inflamed or irritated. This product specifically is great because it has aloe which is also a natural anti inflammatory, making this elixir combat both bacteria and inflammation, the two contributors that make acne what it is. The rose gives it a nice subtle scent and the alcohol free formula makes it less harsh on your skin. Use this consistently for a vast improvement in your skin! (I use it as a toner, meaning after cleanser and before moisturizer)

Great product, however... Would have preferred the pretty label not be ruined by the ugly sellers label. Too bad I was planning on displaying on bathroom counter.

Another 5 star vote for this awesome product. I pretty much got this on a whim. I know how amazing good quality witch hazel and rose water is for the skin. I am lucky enough to have decent skin, and when I actually take care of it, it looks even better. But seriously, this stuff makes my skin feel great and look great! I always get very flushed/red as that is just how my skin is (very mild rosacea). This seems to have really calmed it. And instead of looking splotchy when I do get red, it seems more even these days. Also if I don't feel like washing my face (and I didn't wear makeup or get sweaty that day) I just swipe this all over. I also use this to wipe down/cleanse my under arms before I wax them.

I really wanted to like this toner but the fragrance is so overpowering that I can't use it on my face. It gives me a headache and it lingers around for a while. I did read the label and reviews before I purchased but I though since this is alcohol-free and natural, the Rose smell would be relatively mild. I was wrong, it's very strong perfumery scent. I used it a few times on my face and it gave me some mild irritation, not sure if it's the fragrance or the toner itself. Perhaps the fragrance-free version would have been a wiser choice for me. It makes me think that Rose "fragrance" as listed on the label is not really a natural fragrance extract.

I get the worst razor burn, along with ingrown hairs that cover my entire neck area. This has happened for years and it's so painful and embarrassing. I used this along with Bloc Osma Alum Blockand within a week, the redness and bumps were almost gone. I have a thick coarse beard so there were a couple bumps but not like usual. By weeks 2 and 3 there was significant change in my skin. Not 100% as I would like, but I wasn't expecting miracles. My routine is as simple as: 1) shaving 2) rubbing Bloc Osma Alum Block all over the place and then waiting for it to dry 3) Spraying Thayers Witch Hazel into my hands and rubbing it everywhere I shaved in addition to the rest of my face. BOOM! The redness on my cheeks and nose was gone. I even use this at night before bed. It's light. Doesn't smell.

The package came early which was great and was exactly as described! I love this product, it has done wonders for my skin in the last few months. This is my second time purchasing this product and I plan to keep this part of my facial regime for the foreseeable future. The 12 oz. bottle I bought lasted me almost a year so this bottle can go far and you don't need much for it to work. Love the rose scent too! I use it 1-2 times a day depending on how lazy I'm being and it is still effective. Makes me smell nice and it is really soothing to my freshly exfoliated skin, has also helped to clear up my acne and even my skin tone. (btw, I have normal-oily skin, leaning more to normal, in case you are worried about it drying your face out.) I really love this product and I have even recommended it to my friends.

You will not believe what comes off of your skin post-bath or shower if you use this product and cotton pads! It is moisturizing, has a nice smell, and cleans pores so deeply I can feel my nose and chin tingling after use. It does not over dry my skin, which is already a bit dry. Of course I put a light lotion on after. I use this product on my face, neck, chest, shoulders, and upper back. Anywhere my pores get clogged. The cotton pads look dirty when I wipe my face with them, even after using a facial scrub and eye makeup remover in the shower.
