Typically don't 'get into' these types of shows however the Bachelor Sean was such a great change of pace in these sometimes raunchy shows. Very pleased he was able to indicate his Christianity just a bit and certainly indicated it by his morals and values. How refreshing to see a handsome late 20's male indicate he does not believe in sex before marriage. He might be a 'born again virgin' but GOOD FOR HIM in making such a stand. This guy seemed truly genuine though-out the season.

The Bachelor franchise has slowly been working their way back to true love, and less TV gimmicks... It's wonderful to see Sean falling in love, and hopefully one of the good guys can make it stick! :-)

Anyone familiar with the Bachelor knows that if the Bachelor/Bachelorette is serious about truly finding a spouse - for life - he/she must go through a few things first. People on the show for reasons other than that - and then the rest of the potential mates. Sean did that beautifully, though the show must go on - and a main villainess was selected (in reality, someone who didn't mix well with other women targeting her man). He made no secret of his Christianity, integrity and view on morality before the show aired, which I feel led to the ratings hike for this season. It is no fluke that the women remaining after the initial first night cut seemed to be serious about potentially marrying this man. Were they all right for him? No, but it seemed like regardless of whichever personality she had - reserved, cautious, outgoing, blatantly sexual she recognized him as the type of man she thought she wanted. And many of the women watching - as represented in the TV audience for the After the Final Rose show - concurred.

First I want to say that Sean needs to be cloned and raised with the same values as the "original" Sean so that other lucky ladies out there have a chance at meeting and falling in love with such a wonderful, handsome, caring man that will protect and provide for his family with the old fashion values that my parents grew up with. I'm so jealous...but so happy for Catherine - - -it would be wonderful if there were more men out there just like him.

Watching Sean go thru this process was interesting. I've only watched 3 seasons of the Bachelor/Bachelorette shows...but Sean on the Bachelorette, I got a feel for they type of guy he was. When he became the Bachelor, there was no mistake in my mind that he was the "real deal". Seeing the meeting with his family cemented that feeling in my mind. This was a guy was brought up with good moral values and was truly looking for his soul mate. He was fair but firm with all the ladies thru out the show, which to me that shows a strength of character that says "we are all going to play this by the rules - no unfair advantages". When he chose Catherine - someone that really had seemed a dark horse to me a lot of pieces seemed to fall into place. I did like that he was ethnically unbiased and was unafraid to admit from the very beginning (I am Caucasian)

But as far as why I have a really good feeling about the success of their marriage - unlike the other Bachelor and Bachelorette couples who moved in with each other shortly after the shows results was announced, Sean and Catherine didn't. Anyone that watches Patty Stanger's Millionaire Matchmaker knows her RULES and she has had many, many successful matches and many weddings that she has danced at. I'm not going to go in depth as to what her rules are, but I think she would give Sean and Catherine her seal of approval.

Finally, after sixteen seasons, somebody made it right and made me believe that un-reality tv deserves a second chance. Not that I will start watching all the seasons after this but reality tv isn't "reality".I will remain skeptical no matter what.
After watching Joe Millionaire in 2003 and finding out the guy wasn't who he was,my interest went out the door. So,
when I saw on People Mag that Sean and Catherine are getting married,I had to purchase the entire season on video.I had to say,it was interesting! I say interesting because I don't like the idea of the guy kissing all the girls and eventually end up breaking their hearts. Not to mention, there has to be a villianess to add to the drama.Nevertheless,Sean and Catherine's growing affection for each other is infectious.I would say most of the girls are really nice, not a lot of cat fights except between all the girls versus Tierra. No wonder friendships were formed.I just hope that Ash Lee will find it in her heart to forgive Sean, after all, he is trying to find a wife.If you haven't watched The Bachelor at all like I do, watch this season and fall in love.Just want to point out that Sean is a man of faith.I won't say religious,he is a Christian, so if this is turn-off, to some people it will,it will be up to you, but take a chance anyway, you might enjoy it.Don't forget to watch the wedding as well.It was televised on tv.

Without that one Tierra contestant, I don't think the show would have been as interesting. She was a clear villian, and created a real plot to the episodes. Each girl had good character and dimension to them. Some actresses on TV could learn a thing or two about personality from these girls.

I have rewatched this show a bunch of times. It's a great ride. Sean Lowe reminds me of Owen from Grey's Anatomy.
